INTRODUCTION
The research methodology can be described as set of methods and techniques which are
used to conduct effective research to find out accurate findings. It is necessary for researcher to
select more efficient research methods & technologies which are favourable for carrying out
investigation in order to gain better results properly (Mas and et. al., 2015). The present report
will focus on research problem and related strategies for conducting investigation.
MAIN BODY
Research problem
The research problem is to analyse the impacts of using digital technology in business to
enhance profitability and growth. It is expected to find out actual benefits provide by digital
technology in context of business. Moreover, this investigation is significant to gain assurance
regarding benefits of using digital technology and determine barriers for applying the same in
business.
Summary of literature review
Considering literature review of digital technology in business, it has been summarised that
concept of digital technology is favourable for any business in several aspects, it is helpful to
improve quality of products, speed up overall production and facilitate reducing time duration
along with increasing brand image in market. It is determined that proper discussion and research
about every aspect of digital technology has been not done due to lack of time.
Theories intend to use and its role in the study
The activity theory can be used to conceptualize sub systems of digital technology in order
to evaluate actual benefits if the same in business concern (Hu and Zheng, 2016). It has a role to
determine practical use of digital technology and assure assumptions of profits achieved by using
the same.
Research strategies and methods selected
The research strategies include type of investigation such as qualitative and quantitative in
which qualitative methods has been selected as it is helpful to conduct proper analysis of benefits
gained by digital technology. Moreover another method is use of sources including primary &

secondary in which secondary sources preferred to use which are favourable to gather sufficient
data to conduct investigation about digital technology.
Contributions of the study to theory and practice along with limitations
The study of impacts on digital technology in business has a wide contribution to industry
as they can come to know about profits gained by digital technique in businesses. It is helpful for
business entities to understand about implementation of digital technology in order to enhance
growth and success of business (Leodolter, 2017). Moreover, limitations of this study consist that
due to lack of senior guidance and lack of time which may impact of findings of investigation.
Rigour, relevance and possible impact of the study
The possible impact of this study is to enhance knowledge about digital technology and
provide support to business concerns for adopting more suitable technique in business for future
growth and profits.
Ethics, quality and potential issues
The Ethics has been followed including legal norms, respect & dignity, main quality of
study and put sufficient cots for gaining accurate results. Moreover, issues faced in research are
lack of time and sources did not have specified data relevant to selected topic which consumes
much tie to screening of information.
CONCLUSION
The above report has been concluded that digital technology is favourable for business
organisation in terms of improving quality of product to satisfy customers and earning more
profits. The qualitative method of research used through gathering desired information by
secondary sources to gain appropriate findings.
