INTRODUCTION
In today's modern era various innovation in technologies are rapidly take place within the
business activities which helps in improving overall performance of the company at market
place. With the help of new and advance technologies business easily expand their operational
activities in new areas. In simple word we can say that digital technologies largely impact on
operations which changes business activities a lot (Forsgren and Johanson, 2014). In past year
every organization use manual process to store and execute their process as well as data but now
today's modern market digital technologies help in storing all the amount of data in effective
manner. Present report is based on The Queensberry Hotel which operate their business in
hospitality field in London, UK. This project include aims and objectives of the project which is
related with current technologies. It also includes work breakdown structure and Gantt chart
which helps in evaluating the performance of the company. Along with this quantitative and
qualitative approach is also used in this project to undertake research in effective manner. Project
management plan is also mentioned in this project which focus on cost, time and many more. At
the last of report some recommendation is also discussed in their research.

In today's modern era, changes are rapidly take place in business organization. It is more
important for the enterprise to adopt new and digital technologies to produce as well as deliver
quality services to their customers as per their requirements. One of the important benefit of
using advanced technologies to improve overall business activities in which top level
management easily take better and right decision. With the help of this company easily achieve
competitive advantage from its rivals. In this context, The Queens berry Hotel also use new and
advanced technologies to improving their performance level at market place and also able to
service quality services to their potential customers (Gharajedaghi, 2011). If company spend
their money in right areas than they easily reduce their production cost and retain in market form
long time period. With the help of this manager of the hotel easily recoding all the data and
information of travelling and its customers. If company adopt cloud computing than they easily
expand their services in various areas and also store lots off data about their customers in
systematic manner.

It is more important for every organization to satisfy customers’ needs as per their
requirements and also maximize their profitability. It helps in capturing large market share form
its rivals (Haley, Haley and Tan, 2011). For this it is necessary for the company to change their
business operation as per business environment so that they easily service better services in front
of customers. Digital technologies are one of the important aspect which helps in increasing
overall performance of the firm at market place. In this cloud computing is an important
technology which helps in reducing the cosy of string activities. In this context, The Queens
berry Hotel is 3star hotel they provide quality services at affordable price which aid in improving
the brand image in customer’s mind. In recent time they use some old technologies but they want
to adopting new technologies such Cloud computing in order to improve their performance level
at market place.
Aim: To evaluate and measure the impact of digital technologies on overall performance and
growth of the business.
Objectives:
ï‚· To evaluate the effectiveness as well as effect of digital technologies on operational
activities of the company.
ï‚· To determine the business transformation needs.

quality of research as well as project. In this context, Queens berry Hotel wants to expand their
operational activities so that it is important for them before expanding their business. For this

training and development programs to their workforce in which they
give direction to use new technologies. Along with this there some risks

information which get unless for the project. This type of risk solved by
effectively checking of background of participants in order to reduce

Quality control It is one of the important elements which helps in managing quality of
the project in order to get all the goals and objectives in effective
manner. Due to high quality of the research include formation of all the
charts and graphs to managing their quality of the work in most

Hotel buy new and latest software to implement better digitalisation in
their company so that they reduce the chances of arising conflict
situation at workplace.
Cost Project cost is little bit high which is affordable by the Hotel in effective
manner. In this company also buy new software for managing their
process in more effective way in this they provide better training and
development programs to their employees in order to perform their best
and achieve positive results (Polonsky and Waller, 2014).

specific time period so that they improve their quality performance in

P7 Self Reflection
Working on this project was a great experience for me. It taught many things about which
I was completely unaware. I did not have any idea about how to make and use a questionnaire,
after making questionnaire in this project I learnt various aspect which are necessary for making
a collecting important data. I knew that digitisation is significant for growth of a business by I
was not aware about many details. I learnt that new technology can make a positive impact on
the operational performance of the company. By using latest techniques of working, cited hotel
can increase their profit. Most of the people like to stay in a hotel who use latest technology, it
reduces the wastage of time of customer and help them in reducing human efforts. Digitalisation
has capacity to make significant and major changes in a company (Young, 2013). One of the
most important things which I learnt was that graphs help in better evaluation of the collected
data. There are some mistakes which I can committed at the time of conducting research and
using various tools because of less experience. I will make sure that I will not commit same
mistakes again. Instead of using random sampling for a sampling method I will go for stratified
in upcoming time because it is better version of random sampling. I will also involve more
people as a participant if I would get another chance for working on same project because more
candidates will mean better and more collection of data.

The project management process is required for stating about how whole study will be
undertaken. It also states about the time scale which will be used for completing various
activities. The research work which was conducted is based on the qualitative sources of data. It
collected first has responses of consumers and all the recommendations are based on the very
responses recorded. It allowed me in improving my capability to understand issues in an
effective manner.
