INTRODUCTION
Enhanced digital technology helps to increase the productivity in the market. Companies
must follows different types of digital technologies such as cloud technology, artificial
intelligence and social media. These technologies help to increase overall firm performance in
the market. The laughing heart provide good quality food products to the clients. There are
different types of research approaches which help to analysis appropriate data and information.
This report includes research methods, management plan, work breakdown structure and Gantt
chart of project management plan.

P1 Aim and objective for the chosen topic
Companies should use different types of digital technologies in the business which helps
to increase their firm performance and a productivity in a market. Main aim of this project is to
use digital technology in a firm to expand a business in the world. There are different types of
digital technologies such as social media, internet of things (IOT), different types of information
systems etc. main objective of this project are to determine an effective implementation for
digital technology and its importance for the company to enhance and increase the productivity
in a market. A case study on “ The Laughing heart”.
The laughing heart company is a private limited entity which was incorporated on 5th
May 2016. It is a licenced restaurant functioning in UK having less than 50 employees working
in it.
Overview of the project
Entity should use different types of digital technologies which helps to increase a
performance and productivity in the world. They also should provide appropriate training and
development to an employee so that they can easily learn digital technology. The laughing heart
use different types IT and digital technology system such as transaction system, social media,
software etc. These all are the technologies they are using to increase the efficiency in the
market. This firm use transaction and decision support system which helps to prepare effective
annual report and also helps to take appropriate decision based on the inputs. Effective and
efficient software give more efficiency to the work. Employees can easily generate report based
on the accurate data. By using digital technology they can easily get higher productivity in a
world. (Biancarosa and Griffiths, 2012).

By using social media they can easily attract a customer which helps to increase a
productivity in the market. There are various types of digital technologies and software such as
social media, Facebook etc. it will help to attract a more client in an industry. Digital technology
has positive impact on the company they can easily increase their performance and efficiency in
a market. Top level management has a responsibility to provide appropriate training sessions and
programs to the employee so that they can easily understand the concept of digital technology.
They also need to provide sufficient tools and techniques related to the technologies which help
to increase an efficiency of work in a firm.
The laughing heart company easily attract a customer using the digital technology which
help to increase their productivity in a world. There are many benefits of digital technology such
as increment in performance, higher productivity, effective learning, increment in employee
knowledge. These all are the benefits of digital technology. Employee can also learn from
different digital technology how they can increase their productivity in a market (Blackwell,
Lauricella and Wartella, 2014).

Resources: Various resources will be required such as, computers, technical experts, fiancé

Quality: Benchmarking method will be used to ensure quality of what is offered to the

Qualitative methods are used to analyse the data being collected by the researcher. First
hand data will be collected where thematic technique will be used to analyse the collected data. It
will help in collecting in depth knowledge regarding the stated subject. Further, as per
quantitative approach, statistical tools are used to analyse the data. However, in the present
