tools, resources and devices which generates, processed or
store data. Some of the examples of such technologies are
online games, mobile phones, multimedia and social media.
Digitalisation have become common now a days and on daily
basis it is coming with latest technology which is improving
the functioning of an organisation as a whole.
Aim
The aim of this project report is, “To identify the impact of
digital technology upon travel and tourism sector.”
It involves particular techniques that are accepted in
investigation process to gather, collect and evaluate
information. It defines those tools which are utilised to
assemble equate data in a particular research study. Basically
it is a process of investigation by using different methods like
survey, questionnaires, group discussion and interviews etc.
So that the firm can collect appropriate information regarding
the research project. It is crucial because it help in solving
different planning and operational issues and conflicts. It
consist decision making and consider the study of cause and
effect relationships among several components and assist to
find out behaviour and trends in certain factors.
Research Philosophy-It is belief about the manner in which
information about a phenomenon should be collected,
analysed and utilised. There are two main positions which are
known as positivism and interpretive by which the data can
be assembled and utilised in the research project. This
research project, the investigator use interpretive research
philosophy for the completion of the research project.

This organisation must promote its latest travelling and holiday
packages on various social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter,
Instagram, and so on. This will help in promoting and advertisement
of services of this organisation which will result in increase in
number of customers all over the world.
Reflection
I am glad that I got this golden opportunity of conducting this
research upon the topic named, “To identify the impact of digital
technology upon travel and tourism sector.” A case study on Center
Parcs. This research helped me to enhance my various skills such as
communication, analytical, marketing and research skills which
will help me in future and can open up various opportunities in
future. While conducting this research, I have come across many
topics which results in enhancement of my knowledge. I come to
know the broader understanding about digital technology and its
relevance in travel and tourism organisations.
