This research project investigates the impact of digital technology on business capabilities and performance, focusing on Unicorn Grocery as a case study. The project aims to analyze the usefulness of digital technologies, identify methods for Unicorn Grocery to boost performance, measure the impact of digital technology integration on effectiveness, and find ways for Unicorn Grocery to enhance performance and gain a competitive edge. The research uses survey data to explore themes such as the influence of digital technologies on productivity, the long-term benefits of implementation, the advantages of digitalization, the usefulness of digital technologies in the present scenario, the effectiveness of digital technologies for developing capabilities, the positive influence on performance and productivity, tools for boosting performance, technologies for attracting customers, and the necessity for Unicorn Grocery to make appropriate technological changes to increase profitability. The findings are supported by references to relevant academic literature.
