The digital age refers to a historical period that started in the mid of 20th century. It can be
characterised through rapid significant shift from traditional industry which was established
through Industrial Revolution to an economy basically based on information technology
(Ljubiša, 2021). Workplace transformation in the digital age described as a concept that every
companies should use digital transformation for aligning employees, technology as well as
business processes in order to improve operational efficiency as well as meet organisational
goals. In the following research, selected company is Deloitte which is multinational professional
service organisation of UK. The company was founded in 1845 by William Welch Deloitte and
its headquarters is located in London, England, UK. The research covers, research aim and
objectives, rational of the research, review of literature, research time plan as well as research
approach and methodology.

According to the view of Lindsay (2022), the digital workplace refers to a concept which
makes important for every companies in order to use digital transformation in their business by
aligning their employees, technologies and their business processes for improving their
operational efficiency as well as meeting organisational goals. Artificial intelligence, Cloud
services as well as mobile are some important aspect which helps company to make workplace
transformation in digital age. As these technologies helps in removing the geographical through
processes and collaboration as well as ensure that information of the company is remotely all
time.
As per the view of Zimmer, Baiyere and Salmela (2020) digital technologies offers
opportunities for the company in order to change their workplace by increasing their
organisational effectiveness. It has been founded that organisation is increasingly transforming
their traditional workplace to digital workplace. Workplace transformation is leveraging digital
technology in order to improve their employees workplace performance and experiences. There
are many latest technologies which helps company in order to transform their workplaces to
increase the efficiency of the organisation.

In the opinion of Samuels (2021), digital transformation in workplaces involves use of
digital technologies for remaking a process in order to become more effective or efficient. The
