Introduction
XYZ Company is looking for the digital disruption in the organization. In order to carry
out the plan of digital disruption in the organization, upgrade of different components in the
organization is needed to be done. The main objective of this paper is to suggest the required
modification of the different components in the system for the implementation of the disruption.
Apart from that the modification is done on the basis of the gathered information and
quantitative data. The main purpose of this modification is the improvisation of the security and
decision making capabilities of the organization.
Discussion
In order to manage the security issues and enhance the decision making system in the
organization, the implementation of the emerging technologies can be done at XYZ Company. In
order to implement this the improvisation of network and telecommunication, hardware and
software are needed to be done.
Software: In order to store the data the organization is planning to move to the cloud
storage (Bughin & Van Zeebroeck,2017). There are different facilities in the cloud storage which
include the security and large space for the storage of data. Apart from that, in the cloud
architecture, the overhead cost for the organization in maintain the physical infrastructure is
mitigated. Apart from that the cloud computing in the organization will enhance the security of
the data as well as accessibility of data.
Hardware: The hardware in the system can be upgraded by implementation of the server.
Server system is important for maintain the cloud architecture (Knickrehm, Berthon &

Daugherty,2016). Apart from that the upgrade of the system in different workstations can be
done. Moreover the connectivity between different workstations can be enhanced.
Networks and telecommunication: The network and telecommunication system can be
improved through the increasing connectivity between different workstations. Apart from the
security of the internal network of XYZ organization can be improvised through the use of
firewall and VPN. The firewall will prevent the unnecessary traffics in the organization network
(Kenney, Rouvinen & Zysman,2015). Apart from that VPN will help to keep the privacy of the
transfer of traffics and information in the organizational network.
Decision support system: In most cases, it has been seen that the decision making needs
the analysis of the collected information and the quantitative analysis along with the market
surveys (Krämer & Kalka,2017). The analysis and the evaluation of data is needed to be done in
a specific way. In this situation, the organization has felt a smart decision making support system
that will help in the evaluation of data and will help the organization to evaluate the hypothesis
along with reaching to the objective of the organization. In this case, XYZ Company is planning
to adopt the artificial intelligence driven system for the organization (Utesheva, Simpson &
Cecez-Kecmanovic,2016). The main advantage of the AI driven intelligence system is that it will
able to analyze the data in a proper way and based on the analysis it will provide the possible
options to the management. The management can choose the best option from it.
Use of data and information in order to detect the business situation of the organization:
The data and information can play an important role in determining the business situation
of the organization. In this case the data can be collected from different survey and the
comparison of XYZ Company with other companies. The analysis of these data and information
can indicate the market growth and the opportunities for the organization (Utesheva, Simpson &

Cecez-Kecmanovic,2016). Apart from that the analysis of the data can also indicate the
weakness for the organization. For the XYZ Company it has been seen that the services provided
by this organization is widely accepted by the consumers (Raustiala & Sprigman,2018).
However, the functioning of the organization is dependent on the manual process. At present it
has been seen that the organization is facing problems from some mistakes due to the manual
process. The proposed automation in the system and the cloud storage of the data will mitigate
these manual errors. This will help in the analysis of data and information.
Key performance indicator:
The key performance indicators for XYZ company are-
 Increase of the selling of the products by organization.
 Effective communications can be improved in the organization.
 Understanding the demand of the consumers and making the products those will meet all
the requirements.
 The competitiveness and the ability to produce the uniqueness compared with the other
rivalry companies.
Data collection, sample distribution and hypothesis testing:
The hypothesis can be related to the objective of the company. Based on the hypothesis
the evaluation of the collected data can be done. In this case, for XYZ Company, the hypothesis
are- the digitization of the company will help to enhance the business. The analysis of the data
can be done before the digital disruption in the organization and again after the digital disruption
in the organization. In the comparison with both the results (Matzler et al.,2018). This will
indicate the changes in the business situation for XYZ Company. The data analysis can be based
mainly qualitative data analysis through surveys and interviews.

Strength and weakness of the organization:
The strength and weakness of the organization can be done through the internal analysis
of the organization. In case of XYZ Company, the main weakness is that the functioning of the
organization is highly dependent on the manual process. This makes the problem regarding the
errors in the processing and the analysis of the data (Karimi & Walter,2015). Apart from that the
manual process takes a lot of time for proper processing. The proposed automation will eliminate
all these problems in the organization. Apart from that another weakness for the organization is
the manual storage of the data. This increases the overhead cost for the organization. Apart from
that the security of the stored information are not preserving in a proper way.
The strength of the organization is the goodwill of XYZ Company among the consumers.
Apart from that the organization is able to serve the consumers with quality products in rational
price . This can be conserved as the opportunity for the organization to use the goodwill of the
company and the proper marketing plan to reach to the more of the consumers (Utesheva,
Simpson & Cecez-Kecmanovic,2016). Apart from that the implemented technical advancement
will help the organization to create the new consumer base.
Conclusion
The discussion is regarding the implementation of the digital disruption in the XYZ
Company and its certain benefits for the organization. In this context, it can be said that XYZ
organization has certain shortcomings. The main weakness of this organization is that the
processes and the functioning are largely dependent on the manual process which is time
consuming. In this context the paper has proposed an automated decision making system that
will help the management in the decision making process. Apart from that the manual storage of
the data is said to be replaced by the cloud storage system. This will enhance the privacy and the

from that the use of the decision making system is evaluated in this discussion. It can be

proposed automation would be helpful for the correct decision making process for the expansion
of the business of XYZ company.
