This research project investigates the role of digital workplace transformation in improving organizational performance within the retail industry during the COVID-19 pandemic. It begins by outlining the increasing importance of digitalization for gaining a competitive edge and defines workplace transformation as a flexible working space strategy. The study explores the conceptual framework of workplace transformation, the challenges faced by retail organizations in the absence of digital adaptation, and the benefits of digital transformation in enhancing business performance during the pandemic. The intended methodology involves a positivism research philosophy, a deductive approach, a survey strategy, and quantitative research methods within a cross-sectional time horizon to gather and analyze data effectively. The project aims to provide insights into how digital workplace transformation enables retail organizations to sustain and thrive in challenging times by improving employee collaboration, productivity, and customer experience.
