The reason behind selection of this research topic is that, in the current era, there have been rise in

operational efficiency of organisation. This an effective approach towards analysing the operational
discrepancies which have been faced by the organisation in terms of promoting the use of technical devices.
Study will represent various new techniques and modes of development which will help Tesco Plc. in
its global operations. It will evaluate the opportunities and current market scenario that will be ascertained
to make accurate analysis and planning. Along with this, there will be identification of factors which affect
industrial functions on a global level such as changes in educational level, economic conditions, per capita
income, culture, tradition, languages as well as resources.

generating new buyers, creating brand image as well as increasing the market share. The capital stability
will increase due to increment in sales or in operational criteria. Kundu and Chatterjee, (2018) stated that
there will be various obstacles in terms of developing an organisation in the global context. The
demographic factors such as location, culture, economy as well as living standard of people will be a big
challenge to a retail organisation (Ecommerce Business Ideas, 2018). Availability of resources will also
affect the operations as higher tax charges or tariffs will affect a retail business in developing efficiencies.
Bhullar and Gill, (2018), carried out a study, it has been analysed here that, promoting the business
operations on the global level will be helpful in bringing the appropriate gains and growth to retain the
higher market value. Digitalisation of operations will be helpful in recording all transactions in clouds which
can be audited by an auditor for analysing the financial stability in the firm. Lahl and et.al., (2018) sought to
analyse that, main obstacles for a retail industry is for carrying out the business operations in a new location
which in turn have influences due to variations in geographical factors. Therefore, bringing the business on
online segmentation will reflect the favourable opportunities in opening the doors for developing the global
