The communication in the workplace is greatly impacted by the technology and mostly
people in the workplace communicate digitally in today’s world. The environment of the
workplace is always connected with instant access to everything which are needed by the

It has made the collaboration and communication between the colleagues and associates
faster and efficient.

Limitations of digital communication in the workplace
The digital communication has limitations in the workplace of an organization like
(Oberländer, Beinicke & Bipp, 2019)-
The purpose of digital communication is to assist people instead of getting in between
the course of the work. Hence it is difficult to maintain a balance.
It sometimes become difficult to manage the online workload.
Another challenge which the digital communication face is the lack of knowledge
among the employees for using the online platforms.
Strategies for strong communication in the workplace
There is the need for implementing strategies within the workplace for having a better
understanding of the internal communication system. The companies should encourage face to
face interactions for sharing information in a way which serves the interest of the company. This
can be done through different channels like inter office, visits in inter-department, conducting
objective meetings (Stark Nässlin, Gustafsson & Aman, 2018)
Conclusion
Thus from the above discussion it can be concluded that it is important for an
organization to find the needs of the communication and how it will help to meet the objectives
of the business (Cancialosi, 2016).
