In the firms, the output of the employees has increased rapidly to about 40% in few years. The
new capacities and skills have emerged in the industrial sector that has led to improvise of the
employment requirement in the organization. Most of the organization nowadays they prefers
hiring people with skills and knowledge on the digital advancement technologies and also digital
system. Thus, the study will be carried out to find out the impacts of digitalization over the
management of firms within the industries. Employees and the management organization will be
evaluated in order to examine how the modern technology has altered the tactics and of the
industrial sector linked with management (Fitzgerald, 2014).
1) Research objectives
The objective of the survey was;
1) To identify effects of digitalization on management of the industry.
2) To determine the impact that are perceived by the management sector in the industry.
2) The Research Questions
For the essence of the literature review both secondary and primary study questions have
articulated for the suitable lead of the research (Heeks, 2013). The study questions will help in
covering the historical literature .they includes:
Primary question:
1) What is the effect of digitalization on Current management trend?
Secondary questions:
2) How this effects perceived by executives?
3) Was the effect constructive or destructive on the Executive view?
Literature Review
The digitization procedures has led to firms converting their way of production from labor-
intensive method to involuntary or digital. The firms are now able of carrying out their tasks with
high efficacy. Advanced technologies such as social media, cloud computing, smartphones and
online socialization has fully changed the old-fashioned operational scheme of the industries.
Digitization has improved the work opportunities of every commercial sector. The perception of
online working has also led in the industry after the discovery of online technology (Mithas,
2013). Now individuals are able to work from their resident areas on their appropriate and
flexible time.

new knowledge and information conferring to their suitability. The procedure of workers

has accomplished a greater percentage in boosting the output of the company.
According to the research carried out about 50% of the employment opportunities are linked to
information technologies. In other countries about 6% of the job opportunities are centered on
the advancement in communication and technical process (Al-Aali, 2013). The organization
sectors have encountered a lot of change in the attitude of the workers. In another research has
presented that all the sector in the industry has become depended on the digital technology
systems. Primary and tertiary sectors, the staffs have enhanced much development in their
routine activities. Due to the advancement in technology now the employees are eager to task
challenges or risks. The industries have created more jobs which has led to improvement in the
economy environments worldwide (Baldwin, 2011).
Technological advancement has played a key role in success of firms. Commercialization of new
invention and innovation have become a significant source of the profit, where the firms are
using a strong management or possession of assets. The appropriability of the regime depends on
how informal imitation is for the competitors and be influenced by the strength of the legal
protection and the advanced technology. The ownership of the assets refers to the facilities of
manufacturing and capability of the complementary technologies from the innovation.
The historical literature has delivered more evidence around the upsurge in management in retail,
marketing, service and financial sectors (Bharadwaj, 2013). Though, there is no any information
linked to management ratio of manufacturing industries after the incorporation of the new
technology. This gap in the research of digitization process of different industry sectors related to

It has observed from the current performances of the industries that the organization has
drastically changed in the last few years. The firms have become more efficient and productive

in the global market. The acceptance of these technologies in the business sector has improved
the conditions of traditional functions like manufacturing, recruitment, workforce management,
marketing and so on (Westerman, Bonnet and McAfee, 2014). The analyses have identified that

The implication of online systems and data management software has helped to bring
consistency in the organization performance. Now, businesses can keep a proper record of their
activities for long-term under limited costs (Mithas, Tafti, and Mitchell, 2013).
The major impact of digital technology has occurred in the employment of the companies. This
is one of the detailed functions of any organization due to multiple steps and
measurements.
However, the use of the digital system has created ease in the recruitment and selection of new
employees. The firms are nor capable of making proper comparison between different applicants
in order to hire right person (Brynjolfsson and McAfee, 2012). The study has shown that human
capabilities and skills of the organization have enhanced after the revolution of

This research proposal is centered on two bodies of historical literature that are well connected
and explored on the technology strategy on management (Grant, 2018). Recent changes in the
business based industry has brought modifications that has reveals mechanism and improved
understanding of the two research areas. The changes revolve mainly around digitalization,
notwithstanding its massive attention in business and media in the previous years but static
relatively unexplored in the academic study setting. The firm innovation organization field have

The type of the research can be either be qualitative or quantitative.in this research both of them
were employed as explained below;
Qualitative Research
In the study, the HRM of the industry will be the target of gathering data on the improvement of
management after the advent of digitization practices. The research sample size of the
qualitative study will be calculated. The average of population extent used is 100 with 95% level
of confidence and 5% error margin. Total 90 of the sample size obtained from calculation
(Bogers, 2011). Only 12 managers will be loomed owing to cost limitation and time. Information
will be gathered on via use of face to face conversation. The time and place will depend on the
suitability of the manager and each meeting will be documented to uphold validity and the end
outcome of the findings. The consent from the human resource manager will also be documented
for the discussion all through the interviews. Open ended questions will be appropriate in the
collection of detailed information (Fitzgerald, 2014).
Quantitative research
Quantifiable study will be implemented by the market research of workers in industries. Only
300 employees will be approached in gathering the first hand data .The sample size then will be
calculated by putting the size 1000 ,with confidence level of 95% and error margin of 5%.Here
the closed ended demands will be appropriate which are accessed in form of a questionnaire for
the gathering of clear and valid responses. Overall 15 question will be asked in getting the data
on the effect of digitalization on management. But the questionnaire will be designed after the
literature review to find the investigation variables and it will be presented via direct method
(Bogers, 2018). The firms will be visited in order to gather employees, responses to uphold the
legitimacy and validity of the data (Fisher III, 2013).
2) Data collection method
Sampling
The data collection strategy that is used in the research can be defined as judgment selection.
Elaborate concern and selection criteria will be used in picking of firms. The first concern
will be firms’ strategy in which the random assumption will be made according to patent
were employed as explained below;

degree of firm’s digitalization in alignment to the main purpose of the research with the

For the other firms, the various indicators of digitalization like digital initiative notes in the

3) Research limitation
The research development was quite difficult to the researcher due the emergency of the
following limitation;
1. Inadequate time for the conclusion of the whole study (Bryman, 2015) . Period of eight
months was not sufficient for attainment of the detailed data analysis. The researcher due
to time limit was incapable to reach the big number of the interviewers for data gathering
(Ceccagnoli, 2009).
2. Insufficient financial budget for the study. The full costs of research was inadequate in
