INTRODUCTION
The DIKW model and framework is used for better knowledge management and data value
extraction. The DIKW model or DIKW pyramid is an often used method, with roots in
knowledge management, to explain the ways we move from data (the D) to information (I),
knowledge (K) and wisdom (W) with a component of actions and decisions. The main stges and
steps of DIKW model consists of:

Knowledge
Wisdom
Thus, DIKW model sets a proper relationship between the data, information, knowledge and
wisdom to support improved result and decision making during an investigation. The current
research work and study is based on analysing the role of the research work of Angela
Duckworth in effectively passing the CRAAP test. Further, current study also emphasis on
improve the student’s digital skills within the workplace along with develop awareness of the
importance of effective analysis of information and its translation into knowledge. The main
objective of current research work is listed as below:

of data that has been used for current study along with the method and approaches are provided

With respect to current study use of quantitative nature of research data has been made as it
is easy to collect and present. Further, with respect to current study both primary as well as
secondary sources of information are applied to ensure that the adequate information is available
for analysis of information ad generation of the knowledge and wisdom. The primary data and
sources of information that has been collected by the researcher itself thus are more authentic
and reliable. On the other hand, the secondary source of information comprises of the data
collected by someone else that is easy to collect and less time consuming. Use of secondary
source of information is effective as it provides base and framework for investigation where as
primary data is vital to support the authenticity and reliability of facts. Further, application of the
survey strategy has been made within current study which ensure better collection of information
with the help of questionnaire. A small size of 45 participants has been selected from classmates
and other students for undertaking of current study. Following questionnaire has been used for
collecting information that is circulated to participants through making use of social media and
web link.
