The daily activities however small may become a big challenge. Using of modern toilets for an
example can be taken here as a hindrance too. The disabled people are unable to use the modern
toilets built for the society.

great loses relating to mental health. These people require mental health support but many are
unable to receive them. Some elements in the society pass comments at such people and do not

still happen and make the people with various disabilities their victim. The superstition present in
the society too prevents them from being present or wanting to attend certain events or social
gatherings. The family should act as a support here in order to make them feel better. The
mindset of these people if examined can reveal what intensity of depression they go through and

The research element of this day was education. The lack of education makes the disabled weak
and dependent. They do not get the opportunities a regular person gets and are barred from
receiving such privileges. Some separating practices still exist in the society and make the
disabled feel worse. These practices need to be stopped for the betterment of these people and
should be taken as an action against the law. These people do not get access to regular schools

and those who do are present in almost negligible in number. There is a need in the society for
the development and creation of new schools that are specially made to cater the needs of the
disabled. These schools should consider geographical location, accommodation, monetary
factors and others that can cause problems for them.

The disabled receive no or very less information regarding health and other issues. Hence, they
are unable to take care of themselves until assisted by someone. They do not receive the
information and advises relating to family planning as well. The need for medical treatments also
become a huge issue as either they are far away or cannot be easily accessible. There expense
and the funds required for the treatment too for a majority is not affordable due to economic
crisis. The disabled can get physically abused in relation to fatal disease such as HIV and AIDS.
The abuse is not easily identified as well and can lead to adverse situation when detected late.

practices too have made the life of the people suffering from mental and physical disabilities a
nightmare. Many reports have shown the fact that the disabled were killed during infancy and the
families or parents did so out of being shamed by the society. They did not wish to carry the
burden of raising such a child and ended their lives at the time of birth itself. These horrible acts
have taken place and are recorded as well. Couples who bear disabled children usually do not
accept the fact and file for separations. Only a few bear the fact and continue to raise the
unfortunate child.
