INTRODUCTION
Workplace discrimination is the issues that affect employees moral and their performance in
organisation. There are various reason for discrimination at workplace and this lead to have
negative impact on business and its functions (Malos, 2015). This report is based on Argos
distribution warehouse Basildon. This report will include details about research of diversity
discrimination. In this report purpose of this research as well as scope and limitation is identified.
Cost and resource consideration for research is analysed. Apart from this work break down
structure, Gantt chart and risk register detail also identified and evaluated.

Purpose of research topic
This report is based on diversity discrimination and it will help in properly understanding
concept of diversity. The purpose of this research topic is to determine and analyse different
aspect of gender discrimination activities that is related to performance of business. The motive
of studying this research topic is to analyse and evaluated different problems and issues that is
faced by company and its employees due to discrimination activities. This report will help in
understanding various method and approaches that could be consider by respective organisation
in order to reduce this gender discrimination practices form organisation. Collection and
gathering of information about discrimination is business due to diversity is the main purpose for
selection of this topic.

Discussion of scope and limitation of proposed research
Scope of research – Scope of this research report is to understand and analyse the issues
that is faced by employees of Argos company due to gender discrimination activities.
Discrimination is considered as one of the major issues that will lead to have negative
impact on performance and capabilities of employees to conduct organisation task. This
research scope is extended to the study of gender discrimination in organisation as well
as determining different issues that is associated with this in organisation due to
inequality in gender. Scope of this research will help in identifying and determining
different approaches and techniques that should be consider by organisation in order to
reduce issues related to gender discrimination. This research scope will includes different
methods increasing equality in organisation and providing equal opportunities to
employees as well as reduce gender pay gap. This reserch will includes interview of
female employees of respective company which will support in providing more accurate
answers.
Limitation – There are different limitation that is associated with this research and this
can lead to have negative impact on performance and capability of employees. It is
essential for researcher to analyse and evaluate different limitation of this research as this
will help in developing better strategies in order to resolve this limitation (Heilman, M.E.
and Caleo, S., 2018). Argos is a multinational organisation that is conducting its business
operation in different part of the world. The major limitation is acceptance of employees
regarding the changes in business rule or policies for reduce gender discrimination. Large
market area of customer can be consider as limitation of this research and it will required
lots of time for researcher to collect information about diversity discrimination in
different locations of business. Lack of awareness and strict polices in business for
enhance equality in gender as well as reducing gender discrimination. It is very difficult
for researcher to frame correct interview questions in order to gain right answer form
female employees of business.

Resource and cost consideration
There are different types of resources and huge cost is required by researcher in order to
successfully perform activities of this research. It is important for investigator to collect different
types of resources such as financial, technical, human resource and other material in order to
perform research task. Identifying of all resource will help researcher to effectively and
efficiently conduct research activities (Lucifora and Vigani, 2016). This will support in
reducing problems and risk for successfully completion of this report. It is essential for
researcher to consider appropriate cost and amount of money that will be required in order to
perform research activities in better and effective ways For completion of this research,
investigator will required approx £ 250 amount. This cost will be sufficient in effective
implementation of different activities of this research project.

Project plan – In this plan first aims and objective of researcher is developed according to
which each and every activity in business will be performed. After this scope or limitation
has been analysed as well as time frame for conducting research activities is determined.
Different risk that is associated with the research activities are analysed properly and data is
collected through interview of female employee of business.
Gantt chart – This can be describe as the horizontal bar that is developed for managing
different activities and task of research project in batter manner. Gantt chart is significant for
scheduling different task of research in correct manner along with the time duration that is
required to conducting activities.
Work breakdown structure – This is effective tool for dividing large and complex plan
into small parts for conducting different activities of research project. Work breakdown
structure will help researcher to simplify complex activities of research (Sipe and et.al.,
2016). This support in easily performing different task of research project in timely. This is
effective for successful completion of research project and attaining desired goals.
