INTRODUCTION
⊡ It is a creative way to promote film which is regarding forestation. Through this film there is
taken initiative to plant more trees within Brazilian Atlantic Forest which is only 7% of the
forest remaining (Ferguson, Kelly and Pink, 2021). Here, the number of ticket will decide
the number of planting tree.

ABOUT CASE STUDY
⊡ This is the case study which is about planting tree in large number and to create the
awareness about the planting tree for the forestation.
⊡ In this, case study there is described that Walt Disney company is releasing a film Earth
which is about the environment and forest. It has said there the number of ticket sell out is
the number of tree which will be planted within Brazilian Atlantic Forest.
⊡ This will allows to change the way to count the planted number of tree which will be based
on number of ticket sold rather than number of trees (Nayyar, 2019).

⊡ The main focus of the CSE policy of Disney is about having a approach of corporate social
responsibility that can help in ensuring legacy of engagement of communities workplace for
the purpose of protecting the environment.
⊡ As per the present case study in Disney nature the main focus of responsibility is towards
planting of more trees. It is done in the present scenario by launching of the film Earth
where the main focus of celebrating the opening of this film was by planting of more trees
on behalf of various moviegoers (Heckens, Krause and Guhr, 2020).
⊡ The trees will be planted in Atlantic forests where for every ticket that will be sold one plant
will be planted.

study, the CSR involves social responsibility commitments such as environmental

decreasing wastes, preserving water resources as well as protecting the planet.

this, ocean, wind, hydro-power, solar, biofuel and many more are required for generating the
heat and electricity which are derived from renewable resources.

main objectives of sustainability design are to decrease the use of non-renewable resources,
minimize the waste and also make healthy, productive surroundings.
⊡ Waste reduction: it is also called as source deduction as it is the practice of using less energy
to decrease the waste and preserve the natural resources. The greater efficiency in the
production ultimately leads to less energy consumption which results in less population. In
all Disney hotels, they eliminate the single use plastic straws and stirrers so as to avoid e-
waste.

⊡ Increase awareness- This can help to increase the awareness about the current

about 7% of forest are remaining. This can help to participate in the forestation (Cramer,
2017).

⊡ Encourage plantation- Allows to motive other to plant number of tress to boost the
forestation. This initiative allows to encourage and take participate to plant new tress within
Brazilian Atlantic Forest which allows for greenery (Cockerell, 2020).

⊡ Resist the industrialisation- Through this initiative, there are many
industrialisation project which may be impacted due to this. People will take part to increase
the forestation and in this process, they may lead to protest against the deforestation (Kealy,
2020). This can impact many organisation and can have chance to resisting development.

⊡ From above discussion, it can be conclude that there is need to increase the awareness about
the forest to plant large number of tree within forest. In this, there is discussion about case
study and CSR policy along with positive and negative impact of this initiative.
