The main motive of this paper is to outline the significance and role of culture in Disney. Disney
is one of the biggest and leading providers and producers of information and entertainment. The
culture of Bangkok also has been discussed in the task.
Cultural considerations important to business in general
It is stated that cultural considerations are significant to the effectiveness and efficiency of any
counseling approach. The cultural considerations include artifacts, behaviors, beliefs, values and
reward system that may influence people’s behavior and action on a day to day basis. Cultural
considerations further help in maximizing and enhancing the profitability and outcomes in the
international market (Alvesson, 2012). The country’s culture is a symbol of respect and dynamic.
It further helps to grow and foster dynamic and effective communication and cooperation, a
significant and empirical factor in business growth and success. Culture helps in making unique
and dynamic decisions while expanding and exploring the business internationally. Further, it
also boosts and improves the financial position and brand image in the competitive market (Lin,
Chen & Song, 2012). Along with this, culture also provides assistance to stand out against the
competitors globally. To sell effectively and efficiently or crate a strong working platform for the
business, cross cultural management plays a major role internationally. The strong and dynamic
culture helps in reducing and preventing the language barriers and diversity issues in the global

Bangkok is a Thailand’s capital that welcomes more visitors and tourists than any other city in
the world. It is stated that culture of Bangkok is affected by the modern day (Bangkok, 2018).
Along with this, Bangkok culture is interconnected with the dominant ethnic group globally. The
country is generally categorized into four main regions such as Cambodia, Malaysia, Burma and
Laos. Threravada Buddhism is the main and dynamic religion in the city and remains a strong

and effective factor in Thai culture. It draws on influences from animism and Hinduism and
further official thai calendar is based on the Eastern version of the Buddhist Era. Along with this,
traditional Thai clothing is known as Chut Thai which mainly means “That outfit”. It could be
worn by women, children and men. With effective and strong culture, the city is able to attract
more tourists across the globe. Bangkok generally is showcased as a culturally homogenous city
which helps in gaining competitive benefits (Bangkok, 2018).
How will workforce culture impact upon the Disney expansion
It is noted that culture is considered the major part in the development and expansion of Disney
land.It is stated that Disney culture is associated and interconnected with American culture. The
conglomerate is constantly considered one of the major and attractive cultural representations in
the global market. It has been stated that corporate and workforce culture may put direct impact
on the growth and success of the business (Williams, 2017). As the same way, workforce culture
highly impacts on the Disney’s culture and cooperation. A company’s culture is a set of
traditions, values, and customs that affect the worker’s behaviors and motivation. If the
employees maintain a powerful and strong culture at the workplace, then it helps to attract
maximum visitors or customers in the global market. The strong and unique workforce culture at
Disney ensures that workers reflect ideals that align with target audience preferences, demands
and expectations in the mass media, resorts, parks and entertainment industries. Along with this,
workers advocacy for effective and unique storytelling supports in handling and satisfying
customers’ expectations, choices and demands regarding the organization’s television programs,
movies and related products. The workforce culture further put direct and great impact on the
long term mission and vision of Disney. The workforce culture is also a contributing element to
business progress ad success in the country and even in the global market too. The workforce
culture traits empower workers to increase their performance and organization’s profitability and
market share. In this way, workforce culture has a great impacted on the Disney expansion.
Before expanding the business internationally, the company needs to focus and analyze the
culture and language of the foreign market (Sylt, 2015).
