I am going to present the disruptive innovation presentation for Essendon Food Solutions. As we
all know that disruptive innovation entails improving products and services with few resources
to meet the needs and requirements of the customers.
Slide 3: Moving on!
Essendon Food Solutions which was founded by Jonathan Jacob and Henry Schultz as a food
ingredient company. The company operates with 800 employees and earns around $1.6 billion
with two subsidiaries EnzymeTech and Essendon Emulsifiers.
Slide 4: Before understanding the disruptive innovation, we have to know the present condition
of EFS. The company has been challenged in terms of its creativity and innovation and requires
structural change.
Slide 5: The first perspective is internal. Here EFS follows a bureaucratic structure coupled with
a sub-optimal culture that inhibits the employees from deploying disruptive innovation
