Internal perspective
In the corporate field, boosting the effect of innovation in the workplace, effective
implication of innovation management initiatives are needed. In order to drive the innovative
capacity in an organization, knowledge dominance, strategic initiatives and research and
development initiatives are needed (Vuori and Huy 2016). The strong relationship management
is needed between input subsidiaries and outside organizations are needed for managing the cost,
wage as well as taxation processes. It can be said that operational characteristics and leadership
ate being considered as the important key components that’s significantly impacts on creating in
the case of managing innovation in the organization. It can be said that innovative people needs
to be appointed in the controlling position who has practical experience rather than the bookish
knowledge. In order to introduce innovation in the organization, it can be said that a separate
innovation department needs to be introduced, which can work for measuring the innovation in
easier manner (Tortoriello 2015). This department can also play the significant role for managing
the cost of innovation process. Analyzing the situation in Essendon Food Solutions, it can be
recommended that the company can focus on improving the recruitment and selection strategy
for providing opportunity to the talented candidates. By continuing this, it can be said that in
order to improve the internal structure a separate innovation department can be introduced by the
company.
External perspective
The term innovation is being characterized based on the advanced technology as well as
new demands of the customers. It is also true that external business environmental factors such
as economic situation, socio cultural needs as well as legal and technological facilities in a

food industry. It can be said that in the year 2019, the disruptive innovation has praised the

cannot be denied that the disruptive innovation has profoundly changed the food industry trends.
In case of changing socio economic trends in the market, innovation initiatives get influenced.
Effective implication of disruptive innovation theory can significantly impact on
enhancing the strategic value in an organization. It cannot be ignored that destructive novation
has strong into relationship for product performance in an organization. In that case it can also be
said that the market opportunity as well as availability of potential customers in the market can
influence the innovation process in the company. Analyzing the external factors it can be
recommended that adopting effective training and development initiative can be beneficial in
terms of introducing an effective innovation practice in the workplace.
Marketing perspective
Market knowledge and knowledge integration process are being considered as the
important to key drivers that influence the innovation process in an organization. Depending on
the customer expectation as well as adoption ability of the potential customers it becomes easier
for the organization to introduce new innovational practices in the workplace. Market pressure,
information technology and government policies can significantly impact on the adoption of
innovation initiatives in the market (Nieves and Segarra-Ciprés 2015). In order to enhance the
organizational capabilities, the promotional factors are very important. After introducing an
innovation, the organization needs to focus on sharing the innovation information with the
customers. Acceptance ability of the customers significantly influences in case of enhancing the

numbers of innovation activities in the market. The old economic management as well as
business operational processes are getting replaced with the new ones. It is true that some of the
innovation capabilities are relied on the utilization process adopted by the customers. Depending
on the market needs and demand the innovation capabilities are being improvised. It cannot be
ignored that increasing market competition influences the need of innovation applications in the
organization for maintaining the competitive position in the market (Cui and Wu 2016).
Analyzing the significant impact of these factors for enhancing the innovation capabilities
customers’ expectations needs to be focused by understanding their behavioral perspectives.
Closer attention towards the innovation cycle can bring significant impact on the organization.
Marketing capabilities can be enhanced with better research and development initiatives, which
can indirectly impact on the innovative performance in the organization.
Technology perspective
Technology plays the significant role in terms to enhancing the innovation capabilities in
an organization. In the case study, it has been identified that the company needs a technical sales
team for expanding its distribution channels in the international market (Cui and Wu 2016). In
order to bring innovation, the company has focus on improving its annual business strategy by
improving the team performance through the introduction of new products in in lowest price.
Following the current business Trend the company has focused on strengthening its staffs so that
depending on the talents of the starts innovation can be properly introduced. Rather than
focusing on the bookish knowledge the selection committee has decided to focus on the practical
knowledge of the candidates. Involving outsiders in the development process the company aims
to gain the high business growth. Analyzing the innovation enhancement initiative adopted by

the organization, it can be said that although the organization has focused on improving the
innovation initiatives towards focusing on restructuring its management structure, but it is true
that training and development initiative can be more effective in terms of straightening the
