I: Hello Sir, I hope you have gone through the terms and ethical policies regarding the interview?
K: Yes, I am good with it. Let’s start with this!
I: Ok. Let us proceed with this interview. How long have you been associated with this
organization?
K: I am the decorator of this organization, and I am here for 5 years.
I: During your time, what are the key challenges for our company today and how can those
tackle effectively?
K: Our Company is not using project management software, therefore it results in lot of time to
finish the work and effort is being wasted due to lack of automation process. The software helps
us to better plan and keeps the project information up-to-date.
I: Regarding project management practice, can you explain construction project lifecycle?

K: The construction project lifecycle creates procedures and tracks logs which will be tool to use
throughout rest of the project work. Each of the party involved into the contract has planning
phase.
I: Do you think the project manager have a significant role to play in project lifecycle phases?
K: Well yes, of course! We would not have reached this great height without our project
manager.
I: So, do you think without project lifecycle is critical for any managers to deliver project to the
client successfully?
K: I am not sure whether it is absolutely necessary to deliver the project work to the client
successfully. However, we also know how to motivate the employees if they exceed our
expectations. I would rather say these are construction project management techniques that
acknowledge the hard work of the employees.
I: Do you actually think that organization will fail to meet with growing demands of the
employees without lifecycle?
K: I think self motivation is enough for driving the employees forward.
I: Why does a construction organization require new lifecycle for project management?

K: For better management of the project plan and achieve profitability in the business. It solves
problems throughout the construction phase so that all the phases are met. New project lifecycle
provides standard construction phases such as initiation, planning, implementation and closure
phases of the project. A business case of out project is developed and based on it, all the project
work is happened.
I: Have you noticed any significant enhancement in the corporate performance after the
implementation of project lifecycle phases in construction project?
K: We go through a process of continuous improvement and development of self motivation.
I: Have you noticed any negative impact of the lifecycle on the performances of the employees?
K: Our employees are always highly enthusiastic about their work and how we operate here.
Therefore, I think there are no such negative impacts.
