INTRODUCTION
Diversity and equality play essential role in workplace, it helps to enhance the ability of
staff and increase productivity level rather than before. Due to lack of equality and diversity
companies facing issues that effect growth and success for business. They have to face many
challenges that impact on revenue and quality of products. The present report is based on Lucky
cat of Gordon Ramsay restaurants case, they face challenges and issues due to lack of equality
and diversity in workplace. It explains the brief overview of organization, with aim and
objectives. It justifies project management plan, timelines and work break down structure.
Furthermore, this project clarifies methodologies, research findings and recommendations based
on issues and challenges in workplace.

Overview of company
Lucky cat of Gordon Ramsay Restaurants were located in US, United Kingdom, New
Jersey and other places, they have diverse collection of international and London restaurants.
Restaurant Gordon Ramsay is three Michelin star restaurants in UK, operated and owned by
Gordon Ramsay in 1998. In list of Harden's restaurant, Gordon Ramsay is placed at seventeenth
position in London. They produce different types of dishes for its potential consumers in order to
retain with business, company also restructure their existing menu or ad some food items
according to the demand of people that help to attract new clients. They serve high quality of
food to people within marketplace effectively, with the help of experienced and talented
applicants in workplace. They provide its services in Atlantic city, Baltimore, Las Vegas etc.
with set of unique sinning experience.
Restaurant offering good consumers service in clean and hygienic environment that help to
enhance experience of its number of guests in systematic manner (Oswick and Noon, 2014). The
staff of this restaurant interact with people in courteous and positive attitudes that drive guest
towards firm. Workers of restaurant are able to deliver greater quality of food dishes quickly and
on time without any unsatisfactory work, because it impacts on growth and market position of
business. The cleaning department will always clean dining and cooking area properly in order to
keep restaurants clean at all the times. Lucky cat is able to prepare foods accordant to

requirement and demand of target market. It is rated as third most expensive restaurants in UK as
well as all around the world. Fat cow, Murano, Verre, Petrus, Savoy grill etc. are one of the best
Gordon Ramsay restaurants. Pressed Foie and lobster is one of the most expensive dish of
restaurant which is not affordable for every one in state. The staff member work without any
specific dress code, they can wear something formal.
Aims and objective for project
Aim-
To measure the challenges and problems raise due to lack of equality and diversity in
work place. A case study of: lucky cat (Gordon Ramsay Restaurants)
Objective-
 To analyse the concept and significance of diversity and equality
 To identify the challenges and issues faced by Gordon Ramsay restaurants due lack of
diversity and equality in workplace.
 To determine measures taken to solve challenges and problems due to inequality and
diverse workforce in Lucky cat.
 To evaluate the effectiveness of methods uses to solve issues in workplace arise due to
inequality and lack of diversity.

Project management plan with relevant actions to meet objectives and time frame
Project management plan is set of subsidiary plans and collection of baselines that
include relevant actions such as scope, cost, schedule, communication, quality, risk and time.
Project management plan is continuously elaborated, that means it is refined, updated, developed
and revisited (Syed and Ozbilgin, 2019). It is incorporated all knowledge area management plan
into cohesive, entire it needs to be collected after all elements plans will be created. The aim of

PMP is to foresee risks and issues as possible and to make plan for controlling and organizing
activities that helps to completed project effectively.
Cost-
Cost is the most essential element of PMP, it helps to complete all the activities and
provide possible results. Each activity in project will have assigned cost or budget, the total cost
be rolled up into work budget. It allows earning important analysis to identify status, costs of
research project is calculated while planning each phases of work, that will be approved before
begging of project. The cost of each activity is defined with the helps of researcher, in which
they decide the actual budget of activities.

determine and prioritize any risk might be arisen while conducting research that make negative
effect outcomes. In respond to research, management of risk provide larger benefits to researcher
as help to take better safeguard after analysing risk before it affects each activity. In context to

Lucky cat different kind of risk impacts on growth of organizations such as cost risk, strategic
risk and operational risk.
Time-
Time management is referred to elements of overall project management plan in which
the appropriate timeline is developed and analysed by researcher for completing project.
Investigator takes different phases for managing time effectively such as controlling and
monitoring activities. With the help of Gantt chart the timelines of activities in project is clearly
defined. In context of, restaurant timelines assure that each and every action will be completed
on time and in right place.
Quality-
Researcher will develop the standard relate to quality which is essential components of
work. They have to create strategies that support to meet with quality standards and help to
measure it through range of tools and techniques. To maintain the project quality, Gordon
Ramsay Restaurants uses different types of tools such as benchmarking and cause analysis, that
also help to maintain diversity and equality as well.
Communication-
Communication management outline procedures of enacting formal change required to
baseline of project and how performance of work will be managed amongst other members in
team. Lucky cat will always drive towards using different kind of communication tools that help
to interact with its group and other stakeholder and allow them to make discussion based on
challenges and issues that they face due to inequality.

research and work. To gain better results and solve issues in workplace Gordon Ramsay

Research methodologies is set of different types of techniques and particular procedures
will use to analyse, measure and identify essential information related to chosen subject that. In

research project, methodology allow reader to critically measure overall work reliability as well
as validity.
Research philosophies-
It adopted contains precious assumptions about how research is being prepared or
viewed, from this research methods and strategies were derived (Sheehan and Anderson, 2015).
Many research philosophies will be taken into consideration, that turn in determine research
approach. Interpretivism, positivism, realism and pragmatism, are the four types of research
philosophies. In this project, researcher select Interpretivism research philosophy which is one of
the best research philosophies to perform. According to this method, understanding subjective
meaning of persons in research is very essential. In simple term with the help of interpretivism
research philosophy researcher is able to evaluate strategies taken by Lucky cat to resolve issues
and challenges in workplace due to diversity and equality. It supports investigator to study and
analyse the subject of work in depth and also help to interpret essential components of current
project effectively.
Research type-
Qualitative and quantitative are the categories of research types will use by researcher
according to chosen topic. In this research project, they use qualitative type of research which is
beneficial for them as to provide appropriate findings. It helps to cater deeper analysis of issues
facing by Gordon Ramsay restaurants due to inequality and lack of diversity in workplace. With
the help of this method, researcher effectively encourage and inspire selected participants to give
good response in effective way.
Research approach-
Research approach is divided into two categories such as inductive and deductive,
researcher uses inductive research methods that help to research phenomena in depth and
determining themes efficiently. This approach support researcher to develop new theories and
allow them to create new information from gathered data.
Sampling-
Main conception of qualitative research is to purposeful select participant that encourage
better understanding of whole research questions. Simple random sampling method is chosen in
this research that help to acquire knowledge and reason behind issues in company workplace.

Researcher has selected 30 workers of Lucky cat (Gordon Ramsay restaurants) on base of this
method under probability sampling.
Data collection-
Researcher uses primary and secondary data collection method in this research because it
helps to collect more and more information about the impact of inequality and lack of diversity
on workplace at Gordon Ramsay Restaurants.
Data analysis-
Thematic data analysis category is chosen by researcher that cater better facility to
investigator as make changes according to work.
Ethical consideration-
Researcher has to take care of their participants who are contributing in their research in
order to complete the project on time. They have to work ethically and perform in appropriate
way for getting better findings of whole research.
