Diversity is a term, used to measure the differentiation in recognizing character
between the individuals of a purposefully distinct crowd, dissimilarity in crowd like, national
or cultural classifications, age, sex, viewpoint, physical skills, socioeconomic background,
sexual orientation, and identity of sex, religion, cleverness, psychological wellbeing, physical
health, hereditary attributes, behaviour, and pleasant appearance. Measuring human diversity
indicates the diversity index, which exemplifies the possibility that two arbitrarily selected
people have different cultural tradition. If all individuals belong to the same cultural tradition,
then the diversity is zero. The index of diversity does not consider the willingness of citizens
to assist the individuals of other cultural tradition (De León, Huynh & Plaisance, 2014).
The idea of Diversity involves declaration and respect. It proposes the understanding
that every person is uncommon, furthermore, considering our distinction. These should
include the estimations of race, cultural tradition, gender, physical restrictions, sexual
presentation, spiritual feelings, money related position, age, political feelings, or various
conviction frameworks (Rice, 2015). Diversity is the examination of these credentials in a
confined, positive, and organization situation.

New Zealand is a country with a diverse community. In this country, there are several
immigrants; refugees are present, and who came from the different region of the world. In
New Zealand legislation or social policy, there are several diversities are present. Educational
diversity and pleasant race relations are promoted through a variety of actions around Race
Relations day, and each day through promoting and protecting the rights of diverse cultural
and religious groups. The association encourages all Kiwis to support against racial abuse and

discrimination; to not be bystanders. Diversity in legislation forms various types of laws
based on a different condition. Some laws in New Zealand decide which substances are
banned ("Human Rights Legislation New Zealand - Human Rights Act 1993", 2018).

control teams of medical workers.

For the protection of the society, the Government of New Zealand develops various types
of legislation act, which discussed above. These acts protect the community from any
harassment, and this situation demonstrates the diversity in the New Zealand social policy.
Social policy of New Zealand also creates the diversity in the field of Drug and Alcohols. In
this sector, illicit drugs-offences and penalties, laws for Cannabis, laws for
methamphetamine, laws and penalties for alcohol, and Alcohol licences ("New Zealand

legislation of New Zealand or Social policies.
