There are some weaknesses as well as threats to the college which includes recruiting students
from other countries only which makes only selected students to be in campus which are very
less in number hence affecting campus facilities to students as there are fewer entries in the
campus itself.
Distant learning might be seen as an advantage for the college to increase students but it makes it
risky to handle a large number of students across the country coming from different regions and
different backgrounds.
It might not be much possible for all students to afford to enroll in the college like DUMIC
It is different from other colleges as it provides international experience to students to broaden
their horizons, develop global thinking while improving their ability to communicate from
different cultures while studying and working together, overseas.
DUMIC follows a particular standard for employing teachers; it achieved Gold in Teaching
Excellence Framework (TEF), which is the highest possible standard for maintaining teaching
excellence.
RECOMMENDATIONS
College must provide enrollment to students living in the UK too, as it will give
opportunity to them also while increase students in the campus too.
Distant learning programs should be provided to selected students only which could be
handled easily by the college authorities.
It should be made affordable for students coming from a middle-class background, which
can be based on the rank, obtained by the student in their respective fields.
PART 2
AMAZON- The fastest grown E-commerce website is at the lead above all E-commerce
websites available in the market. Founded by Jeff Bezos in1994, leading market with services
from other countries only which makes only selected students to be in campus which are very
less in number hence affecting campus facilities to students as there are fewer entries in the

1. Threats of new entry
There are basically no or minimum threats of new entrants for Amazon. Due to digital revolution
which has continued till recent times and all other digital websites like e-bay, Flip kart have
turned into a big competition in recent times so now it is easy to build an e-retail business model
with the available technological resources.
Growing digital technology has reduced threats for entry in the digital world, person knowing
minimum technologies can also start new business online so there are no threats for entry to
Amazon, but it would definitely require a perfect strategy and approach to entering.
2. Supplier Power
Supplier power of Amazon workers is zilch to a minimum level, as working for Amazon is what
they can get best so they don’t generally bargain or deny for anything they came across, as
suppliers working for Amazon are larger in number so they could give supplying to anybody else
if one of them denies.
Amazon itself has set some standards for suppliers which are-
A place where production takes place has to meet its standard level.
A minimum amount of wage is fixed which has to be given to the worker, working at the
lowest level.
If a worker is working for overtime then he has to be paid for it.
No child labor or forced labor is allowed while working.
Treatment to every worker should be fair and ethical and no discrimination should be
there to workers working for them on any basis
So Amazon suppliers are already given facilities any worker would love to have, even if it
cannot find a supplier working for them with full dedication and as level set by them then they
can switch them at any time they want, so it could be said that power of supplier comes between
a lower to a medium level and could be estimated in general.
3. Buyer power
Buyer power of any E retail is higher than the medium level, as retention of the customer for any
retail is an important thing to attain while maintaining a retaining power it has to meet the quality
standards they are providing so that customer is maintained and never go so easily.
