This dissertation presents a critical analysis of the factors influencing British leisure tourists' preferences and choices when selecting domestic tourism destinations within the UK. The research investigates the impact of climate conditions and the availability and quality of accommodation facilities on tourist decisions. The study employs both primary and secondary data collection methods, including questionnaires and literature reviews, to explore the reasons behind the popularity of UK domestic tourism, the rising demand for 'staycations,' and the specific preferences of British tourists. The findings aim to identify key drivers of destination choice and provide recommendations for tourism businesses to enhance their offerings and attract more visitors. The research also acknowledges the limitations of the study and suggests areas for future investigation.
