INTRODUCTION
Background of the study
Violence refers to aggressive behaviour of a person against another person that may result
in physical or mental harm of the person suffering from violence. On the other hand, the
term domestic violence refers to suffering from aggressive behaviour and abuse of partner
or spouse (Heise, 2018) Generally, the domestic violence is suffered by women from their
husbands that effects their physical and mental health.
The present research project is about a brief analysis about the seriousness of the
problem of domestic violence on life of young women. It shows various challenges that a
women needs to face in her adult life due to suffering from the domestic violence. It use
various research methods and approaches for the purpose of maintaining viability in the
results of research topic. Further, in the present research project, systematic sampling is being
used so as to collect appropriate data from the population. For the purpose of analysing the
collected data, the most appropriate methodology will be used so that actual results of the
observation could be derived. In addition, the present research project will also include work

Aims:
“The aim is to analyse the seriousness of domestic violence in the country and
determining its effect on the health of young women in their adult life.”
Objectives:
 To analyse seriousness of domestic violence.
 To detect the effect of domestic violence on physical and mental status of women.
 To analyse the effect on the adult life of women caused due to domestic violence.
 To study various laws, rules and regulations exists in the country for protection of
women against domestic violence.
 To recommend some solution regarding elimination of domestic violence from the
country.
Research questions
1. What is meant by domestic violence?
2. How does the domestic violence effects physical health of young women.?
3. How does it affect mental status of young women?
4. What is the effect of domestic violence on adult life of young women?

5. What would be recommended for avoiding domestic violence from the country?
Research methodology
Research philosophy: interpretivism, realism, positivism etc. Are some core categories of
research philosophy (Flood, 2019). In this research project, realism and positivism
philosophy will be used.
Research approach: there are various types of research approaches such as inductive approach,
abductive approach, deductive approaches, etc. In the present research report, abducctive and
deductive approach of research will be used.
Data collection: Data collection can be done through either secondary method or through
primary method. In secondary method, data is being gathered from various books and
journals, websites based on this topic, etc. On the other hand, in primary method, a set of
questions is being asked to several population. In the present research project, secondary
method of data collection will be used.
Sampling: random sampling and systematic sampling are two methods of sampling. In this
research project, systematic sampling method will be used.
