Report
AI Summary
This report investigates the biochemical impacts of combined drug and alcohol consumption on the human body, addressing a gap in understanding how this combination leads to detrimental health conditions and potential mortality. It highlights the prevalence of drug and alcohol-related health issues, including liver diseases and mental health disorders, supported by statistics from the UK and Scotland. The research aims to identify the specific biochemical changes induced by the combined use of drugs and alcohol and the resulting health conditions. The methodology involves primary lab research using biochemical blood tests and clinical biochemistry tests, complemented by secondary research to gather relevant information. The literature review references studies on alcohol's effects on the brain and behavior and haematological changes related to substance abuse. The report outlines a seven-month timeline for completion, with a list of references for the study. Desklib provides access to similar reports and solved assignments for students.

Title
To study the impact of drug and alcohol combine consumption on the biochemical activity of
body or internal changes in organ function caused by this.
Background to the Research
Drugs and Alcohol are one of the most affecting health issue in the world, because that are
causing the serval health condition like liver diseases, mental health condition such as anxiety
and depression etc. IN the UK 2019 there were specific death aretes were highest among the
peoples aged 55 to 64 and in the 2020 in Scotland the alcohol specific death rate was 21.5%.
various case of the mixing dugs and alcohol was identified, that are leading to the dangerous
effects like death. Alcohol damage body and brain, drugs are also affecting the cognitive system
and metabolic system of the individual due to which it leads to the serous health condition or
death (Borrelli, and et. al., 2018)
.
Statement of the Problem
There is the lack of information that how the drugs and alcohol combine use causes the
death, what change do it possess on the internal function lie biochemical process of the body,
what change dose it case, which lead to the death. So, this research topic am being fill hat
research gap with relevant study.
Research Questions
What is the basic concept of the drugs and alcohol combine use and impact.
What is the exact biochemical changes caused by the drugs and alcohol in the body.
Which types of the health condition care caused by the drugs’ and alcohol induced
biochemical changes.
Literature Review
According to the Edith V. Sullivan 2010, Alcohol’s Effects on Brain and Behaviour journal,
neuropsychological sequelae of alcoholism should study to evaluate its impact on brain.

Use Disorders- An Overview haematological abnormality is caused by the drugs’ and alcohol.
Methodology
Primary research in the lab with the key methods of biochemistry, such as biochemical blood
tests, clinical biochemistry tests along with the secondary research to get relevant information for
conducting this research (Hasan, and Muhammad, 2020).
Timeline
This will take seven months to complete.
