Executive Summary
A leader always needs to be an effective and dynamic leader, because only an effective leader is
able to gain positive and extra-ordinary results in the workplace. In this assessment some major
aspects of leadership have discussed in reflective form. Some major leadership theories and
models also has included in this reflective assessment.

INTRODUCTION
An effective and dynamic leadership play great role in an organisation, because this gives
opportunity to organisation for improving its all over performance in the market. Nowadays each
business or company focuses on developing leadership aspect within their workplace. According
to different business experts, if a business has effective leadership, then it can get a highly
motivated workforce. Reason is, an effective leader always takes different steps towards
motivating their employees or team members in the workplace. Currently most organisations
give high priority to only that candidate in their hiring processes who has quality of effective
leadership. That’s why each person should develop some leadership skills for gaining high
success in personal life. This assessment mainly discusses value of dynamic leadership in this
dynamic world. Some major abilities and skills also has discussed below which highly required
in the job of a leader.
MAIN BODY
Role, responsibilities and leadership challenges
Currently I am working as a leader where I have responsible to properly lead my team.
My upper management has provided some special instructions to me for always developing
productivity of employees which comes under my command. Of course, currently I am too good
in my existing job role of a leader. Reason is, people or employees are always like to work with
me. My team member very satisfied with my existing nature, on the other hand I am also very
satisfied with work of employees or team members (Kesidou, and Carter, 2018). They always
properly follow guidelines and rules & regulations which I have created to for my whole team. I
am also responsible to follow each and very rules and regulations which my upper management
has provided me. Day by day I am trying to more develop or improve performance of my
teamwork. That’s why I have employed different team development theories within my
workplace. Currently I have some knowledge of how to convert an ordinary team into an
effective team, so this knowledge is highly supporting me in my existing job role.
I always face different challenges also in job role of a leader. For example; many times
some conflicts raise between my various team members. In this type of situations, I am the only

person who need to deal with this challenge which has based on conflict. On the other side,
sometimes I face challenge which has based on work pressure, in which I highly need to
systematically deal with this challenge. Basically, work pressure is one of the biggest challenge
to me, because I need to find that solution of this challenge which can satisfied both parties
called upper management and team members. Reason is, if I not complete work on time, in this
situation my management will be may offended (Bird and Mendenhall, 2016). On the other side,
if I put work pressure on employees, then my employees will be may frustrated. To
systematically solve such challenges, I am completely depending on my extra-ordinary
leadership skills, because with support of my various existing skills I am able to deal with
various challenges in a leader’s job role.
Key aspects of leadership journey
My whole leadership journey has too fantastic, because this job role always gives me
different opportunities of learn new things. From getting a job role of leader to date, day by day I
completely focuses on learning new things and new chapters of life. I have faced different
challenging moments also in my existing leadership journey. But literally, those challenging
moments teach me more productive things in comparison of other moments, because in every
challenging moment of life, a person always has required to develop some effective ways or
methods for solving that challenging moment. Then, that person can easily use those methods
and ways for life time which it was developed in its past challenging moment. That’s why
different challenges were put very positive impact on my leadership quality (Halevy, Jun and
Chou, 2020). I was really learning too much new things from my different challenging moments.
Currently I am reputed leader within my workplace, because always put huge efforts in
job role of leader. Nowadays my upper management is also completely understanding my higher
value in the work place, because I always find an appropriate way for dealing each type of
critical situations of the workplace. That’s why currently I am able to maintain image of an
effective leader. My employees and team members always give me high respect, because I
believe in marinating an ethical work environment and culture. Training seminars which
organises by my upper management in the workplace, in which mainly these seminars were
positively affect my performance and leadership. I always like to attend different training and
motivational seminars which always increases my leadership strengths in the workplace. In this

situation, these seminars were really positively influenced me. Currently I have well-developed
leadership skills because of my learning habits. I always like to deal with different challenging
moments in me leader’s job role, because these moments mostly give chance to me for more
developing my leadership aspect.
The results of the Gallup strengths finder
According to the results of the Gallup strengths finder, currently many skills are main
base of my strengths (Cooper, Watson and Worrall, 2016). For example, my adaptability skills,
includer skills, ideation skills, positive learning attitude are main strengths of mine. I can’t get
effective results on my leader’s job role without these all skills and abilities. Mainly one strength
called positive learning attitude always give me great opportunity to learn new things in my job
role. According to my knowledge, people always should maintain positive learning attitude,
because when this type of attitudes support to them for learning some productive thing in life.
But, only positive learning attitude is not enough to get better results in the job of leader, because
there are some other skills also has played equal role in leadership development.
Currently I have some well-developed skills, like; adaptability, includer and ideation etc.
which highly support me for giving great contribution in the workplace. recently I have taken
some productive steps towards more developing these skills. If I more improve or develop these
skills, then I will be able to achieve more effective results in job role of leader. In this dynamic
world, each leader should take knowledge of modernisation, in which my positive learning
attitude highly support to me for learning knowledge of this dynamic world (Fridenson and
Takeo, 2017). Lastly, when I will apply this knowledge in my teamwork, then I can easily
achieve positive results in the workplace. I still highly need to more develop my different
strengths, because development will give opportunity to me for gaining high success in job role
of a leader.
Key feedback points
Recently I have got some feedbacks from my partner and other trusted sources on my
capabilities, effectiveness, leadership style, interpersonal and social skills which has associated
with personality assessments and emotional intelligence etc. In those feedbacks, my partner and
different trusted sources has mentioned that I highly need to consider this various skills and
capabilities in my daily life for more developing and improving them. Of course, my most

leaderships skills have well-developed, but still some needs to be more improved and developed,
like; leadership style and social skills, etc. My partner said to me that, I can achieve better results
in my job role if I will be developed these rest skills, abilities and capabilities (Farah and et.al.,
2020). My partner and different trusted sources are completely true, because many times can’t
able to use different leadership styles in my job role.
According to different books and journals which has based on leadership, each leader
always has required to use different leadership styles for dealing different situations within
teamwork. Currently I should follow the concepts of some leadership theories, like
transformation leadership theory. If I employ this theory of leadership in my job role, then I can
easily take huge advantages from different styles of leadership. On the other side, I should focus
on some other feedback areas as well. For example; I need to more improve my leadership
effectiveness, capabilities, interpersonal and social skills. Currently proper training on leadership
is the only appropriate way to me for systematically dealing with these various feedback areas.
When I get proper training, then I will be able to easily develop my these all skills, abilities and
capacities which has mentioned various feedback points.
The implications of the feedback
Feedback has completely put positive impact on my leadership performance, because
when I get feedback from my partner and trusted sources, on that time date I continuously
improving those skills, capabilities and knowledge area which was mentioned in those feedback
points (Chin, Trimble and Garcia, 2017). That feedback has really positively impacted me,
because after getting feedback I was completely know that which area of leadership in need to be
improved. Basically, feedbacks always promote developing environment in any person’s life,
because without feedback no one can develop its different leadership skills and knowledge area.
After getting feedback, I was taken different necessary steps towards developing my different
leadership skills and capabilities. According to many business experts, a leader can’t convert it
into an effective leader if it has no different well-developed skills. Means, a leader needs to be
develop such all skills, knowledge and capabilities which make them an effective and productive
leader within a teamwork.
Basically feedback plays very great role in the terms of developing a leader’s all over
abilities and competencies. That’s why I am always welcoming feedbacks in my personal life. A

Currently various leadership models and theories are available here which can support me
for turning my ordinary team into an effective team. For example; different leadership
approaches, like; contingency, situational and transformational etc. I was take huge advantages
from these all approaches, because now I am able to use various leadership style in various
situations with the support of these approaches. There is feedback also a par of various
leadership theories and models. According to various leadership books and journals, when a
leader gets a feedback on its skills and abilities, then it can easily know about those skills and
competencies’ which it highly needs to be developed or improved.
On the other hand, I always need to consider many leadership models also in my existing
job role. For example; autocratic leadership, democratic leadership, strategic leadership,
transactional leadership and transformation leadership etc. These models mainly guide to a
leader about how to react in different teamwork situations (Tsao and Laszlo, 2019). I have highly
required to completely employ these all productive leadership models in my daily life, because
without employing these models in my daily life, I can’t achieve productive results in the
workplace. These models and theories of leadership mainly open gates of success to a leader.
That’s why I highly need to completely follow concepts of these different leadership models and
theories. On the other side, I should continuously take various feedbacks from my partner and
trusted sources, because these feedbacks always give opportunity to me for developing my
different leadership skills and capabilities.
CONCLUSION
It can be concluded that a leader has always required to take various innovative ways and
methods to become an effective leader. Currently only that leader achieve huge success in an

organisation who has proper knowledge of different leadership theories and models. There is
each leader should consider these various leadership theories and models in their daily teamwork
operations for converting its ordinary team into an effective team. There is a feedback also plays
great role in improving leader’s attributes and competencies in its existing job role. That’s why a
leader highly need to consider various feedback point also for self-development.
