INTRODUCTION
If any company wants to improve their performance in future, so they need to make
business development strategies, which helps the improve the performance of the company
which is beneficial for their growth (Becker, 2018). Business development is a wide scope of
ideas and creativity, it includes many objectives like business expansion, how to increase profit
and so on. In this report it discusses that how Dyson company develop their business and aware
of new market opportunities and support to compete in the market.
MAIN BODY
History and Development of Dyson
Dyson plc company is a international technology company which was founded by the
James Dyson, it was implanted in 1991 at Malmesbury, England. Along with this company
manufacturing the household appliances such as air purifier, vacuum cleaner, hand dryers and so
on and their main headquarter was in Singapore (Munje and Jita, 2021). The net income of this
company is US$1.9 billion and thousands of number of employees working in this company all
over the world. The history of Dyson is amazing; James Dyson is the famous these days for
investing a bag less vacuum cleaner which is called the Dual Cyclone. This company design and
make a vacuum cleaner as well as various other items. Along with the company has increased
significantly and now heads the list as one of the body of the industry, with thousands of clients
in more than 100 countries in the world (Lopez and Seligson, 2019).
The history development of the company has also been mentioned below which details
the way in the company did major disruptive innovation over the years as it started with the
innovation of bagless vacuum cleaners and over the years, they are producing most major
segments of electronics.

Dyson company always doing some initial research, design and development to innovate
their product. There is one interesting story of Dyson company, one day James was very
disappointed with their vacuum cleaner, that they had breaking the machine discovered that it
was a layer of dirt clinging to the mesh material that was preventing the machine from working
properly. James decided to give the same principle a try (Majeed and Hassan, 2018). They took a
bag of his vacuum cleaner and replaced it with a cyclone made from cardboard. After trying it,
this they realised that, this idea was more efficient because it picked up more dust and seemed to
be resistant to breaking down. This was the start of the “bagless” vacuum cleaner as we know it.

to constantly improve their skills.
Description- Dyson is multinational technology company, if I want to doing job in this
company, so it beneficial for my future growth. Along with this the well-established company, it
gives my many benefits like health insurance, Maternity and Paternity leave, professional
supports, Vacations and Paid time off and furthermore. I love this company because it gives my
many opportunities which helps me to build by career.
Feelings- I fell so nervous, because this my first job and I work so hard to get this job, I give my
hundred percent to this company, this is like dream come true for me. Now I feel so, excited,
because this job helps me enhance my skills and I learn lots of things which is good for my
performance betterment.
Evaluation- I am very creative and innovative person, so this thing helps me get this job, along
with I am afraid to face problem in tough situation, this thing helps me to doing perform well in
my job. I am multitasker, I can manage my work effectively and efficiently with in the time.
Evaluation (Challenges)- But I need to work on my weaknesses, if I want to get this job, I need
to doing some development course which helps me to develop my knowledge and skills, which is

good for my job. Along with I also need to working on my communication skills, otherwise I
face difficulty to communicate with others members.
Analysis- This skill helps me to solve complex problems in better way and helps me yo self-
organised my work which is beneficial for my career growth. Along with it support me in
analytical thinking, active learning which is good for my job.
Conclusion- If I am not able to improve my weaknesses, so I face difficulty to doing my job in
proper meaner, this is not go for my future growth. I need to work on it.

In this report it discusses that business development is important for the company growth, it
helps the company to take better decision in future. Along with it gives the history of the
company, and how they develop their plan by doing innovation and also discuss the
opportunities and threats of the company, which support the company to make batter strategic
planning. In this it gives the refection related to the Gibbs' refection model and make a action
plan, that what thing need to improve to getting this job.
