E-Business and Business Strategy
According to me, e-business concerns with using the technology to enhance business
processes with involving all business partners, customers and suppliers. As there is an
influence of the internet, e-business is not constrained by any geographic boundaries and
barriers and therefore, benefit business with open wave of new way of marketing. It also
helps businesses to meet customer expectations as with increasing choices and selections,
they seek for online channels to access relevant information, interact with the business and
then make purchases. Hence, it has completely changed the way we purchase and likely has
various advantages for both the businesses and customers. In addition, I also think that as its
emergence of e-commerce has been grown by leaps and bounds and it can be said that in
future, it may overtake brick and mortar shops entirely and while that remains to be
perceived, the significant role of e-business cannot be overlooked in the present global
economy. Furthermore, to completely understand the concept of e-business, one must require
to grasp the link between e-business and the net economy and therefore, identify who the
typical market participants are in the industry.
In relation with personal attitude and experience with e-business, there are several
benefits while relying upon e-business. E-business help in removing location and availability
restrictions as with internet access, it is accessible from any area and addition with the
evolution of m-commerce, there is another advantage for e-business as users can access
effectively it via from their mobile device. With e-business, there is also an elimination of a
lot of overhead costs in the business while also having transaction costs lessened and there is
less cost to advertising when considering e-business marketing. E-business holds the business
relevant and allows both businesses and customers reap the benefits as being online makes

business accessible, reasonable and convenient and better align to customers and ultimately,
all winds when businesses are focused on customers’ benefits.
There are various questions I have about e-business as the business strategy as it can
be said that a well-run business and companies on large scale are now days taking full
advantage of e-business efficiency in every area of their business such as marketing and
sales, goods supply, customer relationships and managing internal actions and undertakings
such as financial, human resource and administration system. However, I wish to know how
new distribution channel opened up scope in the e-business practices and what are the cloud
based applications that help companies e-business in collaboration and project management. I
also know operations in some of the common e-business terms such as B2B (Business to
Business) and B2C (Business to consumer) used by companies in development of various
strategies. However, what business strategies are developed in G2C (Government to
consumers), G2B (Government to business), electronic retailing and in e-procurement.
Ultimately, it can be said that if one is new in the world of e-business and there is
requirement of undertaking effective business strategies to make the business competitive in
the dynamic and digital world.
