INTRODUCTION
The essay will have focus on analysing the need for implementing the regulation for
controlling the manufacturing, selling and consumption of E-cigarettes as well as alcohol. In essay
other issues such as smacking of children, ugly parent syndrome etc.
Articles 1: Prohibition on the consumption of smack by children
Smack children is current issue, smacking is refers to blow deliver with the open hand, it
makes children' s more aggressive and risk of physical problems. British government takes legal
actions against children smacking. They need to ban smacking of children and wants less violence
among teenagers. As preview of Hayes,2018. many people had smacked in their own childhood, it
is the worse experience that impact on children mental ability as well as physical, they thinks that
smacking of children must be band completely. On that other hand, some people did not think that
smacking of children had negative effect on life of children for longer, they think that smacking is
not child abuse (Astruplooks, 2018.). I think that it should be banned, parents have right to smack
their child, but not in harmful way that lead to serious injury. According to children act 2004,
parents as well as care taker smack children provided it does not cause reddening, scratching and
bruising of skin. Law sends out message related to smacking of children's that it is illegal and
unacceptable to assault the teenager and limits use of physical punishment to children's. I think that
those parents who still smacking their children's against law, government placed criminal charges
on them if they hit the child so hard.
This issue is related to punishment that is given by parents to their child as not behaving
properly with them. I think this should be banned as this could have an adverse effect on children's
life. In a research it has been found that smacking is having negative outcomes as it also affect
development of children in the future. In 2000 a research is being done that involve convention 191
and 196 that prohibited physical punishment in 11 countries. It has been found that there is risk
related to this problem in order to overcome from this problem legal and regulatory framework is
required to be implemented in many nations.
According to the D'Souza, A.J. and et. al., ( 2016) smacking refers to harm that is caused to
people by physical abuse. As British legislation is against from this type of child punishment and
only allowed if there is any specific reason behind that smacking. After implementation of certain
policies and procedures by government this problem can be reduced in most of the countries. From
present analysis it has been found out that one thousand and six hundred parent child pairs are
included for doing survey in the country as they are affected from this problem. On the other hand,

it will be treated as violence with children by parents as it also reflect societal norms that will
provide bad impact on children in the future. This can be prohibited by implementing proper laws
and regulations that help in safeguarding children from smacking. Secondly, by taking proper
measures this problem can be removed from the country as parents have to understand that it will be
harmful for their children in the near future as they are not feeling secure with them. Therefore,
punishments are provided to people that are committing this type of illegal practise with children.
Positive
As providing them proper care and have knowledge regarding their child as if it is going on
wrong path parents help in coming out from it.
Negative
Through this issue morale of children has been gone down as they are not having support of
their parents that demotivate them to grow in the future.

Article 2: Introduce sugar tax
In recent time, government increase tax on sugar that is more than 20% , high body mass
and unhealthy diets is one the risk elements that support to burn calories and disease. In order to
reduce diseases related to diet, obesity and overweight, the main focus is to create healthy food
environment. Food and beverage industry contribute to increase healthy diets more rapidly, as
compare to unhealthy foods (Truscott, 2019). The main purpose of sugar and food taxes is to
improve diet of population and reduce diseases related to the same, it considered as one of the most
powerful tool. Research indicate that taxes is the effective and appropriate intervention that help to
improve people healthy living standards. I think that taxation on sugar is the best way to reduce
obesity and other things related to unhealthy diet. Taxes improve supply of health food goods and
also help to discourage consumption of unhealthy diet. In current era, many nations have implement
sugar taxes to enhance population health and to make them fit or healthy. Sugar beverage impact on
obesity and overweight mostly in teenagers it is one of the main issues that garb attention and need
to reduce it as soon as possible.
This issue is related to taxes that has been imposed on sugar as its consumption is increased
day by day. According to me excess consumption of sugar has become a major problem and there is
risk of obesity, diabetes and heart disease so people have to control on their consumption that help
in the future. In a recent data it is being showed that consumption of sugar is increasing at very fast
pace. On the other hand, obesity is the major factor that help in increasing non-communicable
diseases to people in the society.
As per the Jenkinson, (2017) in the past three decades it has been found out that there are
changes that have been take place in lifestyle of people in the world. Due to this change in lifestyle
diet of an individual also changes as physical activity of people is reduced that will increase sugar

level in the body. Government is introducing tax on sugar because of its high consumption as that
will affect health of people in the country. Soft drinks also include much sugar in it that affect health
of people.. Tax help in modifying prices of sugar and help in reducing diseases that are occurred
through sugar. From overcoming excess consumption government implemented different laws and
regulation that help in preventing people from disease. In 1920 and 1930 sugar taxes were
implemented in countries such as Norway and Denmark for the purpose of generating revenue. This
also create dental problem among people that has becoming a major issue as they are not able to eat
properly. By implementing different taxes in the country that lead to reduce consumption of sugar
and help in better health for people. Another concept that include Sugar sweetened beverages are
one of the main sources that is affordable for people and it do not have any impact on health. Lastly,
it is necessary for implementing tax on sugar that help in preventing people from getting suffered
from various diseases.
Positive
There has no effect on people's health as they are not suffering from obesity or any other
disease that impact their health. This become advantage for people in saving their life.
Negative
This has been decrease consumption of sugar as people are not purchasing as they are
buying earlier in bulk quantity.

Article 3 : Make e-cigrattes illegal
In Present era, consumption of E-cigarettes and drinking alcohol sponsorship of sport has
become latest trends among youth. Through investigation it has been found that E-cigarettes can
aid smoking cessations (Choi, Dave and Sabia, 2019.). It is very much important for people to
develop the understanding that consumption of E-cigarettes has negative effect on health.
Overconsumption of E-cigarettes can cause of death, as E-cigarette provide Nicotine through
vapour which is then taken in mouth by human beings.
Research represents that one of the most important issues of concern is related to the
consumptioon of E-cigrattes by the teenagers. Through investigation it has also been found that
ttenagers belonging to the age of 12 to 17 years of age are consuming E-cigrattes. According to the
author.
E-cigrattes produce few toxic by products, as my point of view that it is required by the
goverment in Australia to review the regulation implemented by them for controlling the
manufacturing, selling and consumption of E-cigrattes (Lester and Meaney, 2018.). It has been
suggested by World Health organisation that Selling as well as consumption of the E-cigarettes is
required to be regulated in same manner as Tobacco.
Present regulation has been enforced by the government in Australia for controlling the
utilisation of the nicotine cigarettes which is considered to be as poisonous. In context of new
regulation in Australia, selling Nicotine is considered to be as illegal activity.
Research indicated that the sales as well as supply of nicotine in Australia is illegal , but
still nicotine free E-cigarettes are available which are being sold by manufacturer with the help of
Tobacco store (Gartner and Bromberg, 2019.). The number of regulations which are being
imposed by the government in Australia are related to the selling of Plant toxin which consists of
E-liquids legal without prescription , ,etc. But I perceives that implementation of legislation for
controlling the spread of such habit among youth is not sufficient, I believe that Government in
Australia is required to prohibit selling of E-cigarette and other same devices, as it could be best
technique for controlling manufacturing , selling and consumption of Electronic-cigarettes.
E-cigrattes are rapidly increasing day by day as mostly youngster are affected from this
problem as they are becoming habitual nowadays of consuming cigarettes (Kalkhoran and Glantz,
2016). It has been found out that smoking is the biggest risk that lead to death and disability among
people. In a survey it has been found that 6 million people are consuming cigratte although it is
illegal in the country. I think that it should be banned from the country as it will help in saving life
of people for the future. Through e-cigratte also toxins are inhaled inside that is harmful for the
Document Page
body. As they are increasing popularily among people and affect their health.
Barrington-Trimis and et. al., (2016) stated that for overcoming from this problem
government is required to implement various policies and procedures so that help in saving life of
people. Henceforth, use of e-cigratte is increasing popularly in the United Kingdom. People are
more addicted towards these harmful products that destroy health of people. There are different
components that are included in making cigarette such as glycol and glycerol vapour that affect
health of people. Nicotine is chemical that is used for manufaturing cigarette There are different
regulation that is required to implemented for protecting health of people. In European and
American market sales of e-cigarette is increasing at fast pace. According to world health
organization e-cigratte should be banned at public places. Different marketiong campaigns has been
organized that help in awaring people for less consumption of e-cigarette by people. It is illegal for
consuming cigraette that will have adverse effect on health as well as become problem for entire
life. Smoking is injurious for health and creating long term impact so proper measures is required to
be taken to prevent people from it. There are different tactics that help in prevention from e-
cigarette and providing different perspective in the future.
Positive
It is less hazardous as compared to tobacco for smokers as it contain less toxic into it.
Negative
This cause diabetes to people as it contain Nicotine that is not good for health of people and
may also lead to increase blood pressure and heart rate.

Article 4: Ban alcohol sponsorship of sport
The issue in the article is related to the Alcohol sponsorship of sport which is now common
in Australia. The arguments in the article is related to the appropriateness of interlinking sports with
alcohol advertisement as well as promotion. I perceives that there is direct relationship between
interlinking sports with alcohol advertisement as well as promotion. I believe that it is the
drinking attitude which is highly effected by the social norms. I also think that the interrelationship
between sports with alcohol advertisement as well as promotion is quite problematic. I perceive so
because young children also watch advertisement and sport so they could highly get exposed to the
extensive alcohol. Present situation is that through research it has been found that young adults and
teenagers is Australia participate in sports and they like to drink alcohol in large amount while
socialising with other members in sports team (Zerhouni, Bègue and O'Brien, 2019). I perceives
that it is the alcohol advertisement during the sports forecast which encourages young children to
drink. There has been arguments among other industry and public health associates related to the
whether associating alcohol with sport contravenes the spirit of advertising code of practice.
This article is related to consumption of alcohol by children as by seeing advertisement on
television. It create different aspect as through advertisement it influence children for drinking
alcohol. I think it should be banned by government to provide alcohol in between advertisement as
it is having bad impact on children those who seeing television (Brown, 2016). Similarly, younger
people are more involved in drinking alcohol that is having adverse impact on their health. There
are different segments that is having greater impact on health of people those who are seeing sport.
In a recent study it has been found out that consumption of alcohol is bad for people as providing
various aspect that help in providing advertisement related to alcohol. In my opinion alcohol has
been banned from teh country as it is very harmful and damage immune system of people.
As per the Kelly, Ireland and Mangan, (2017) use of alcohol is having a greater impact on
health that it provide different aspect and bringing changes in sponsorship of sport. A recent
analysis is being done that provide information related to advertisement that is shown on television
