Introduction
This paper shall elaborate on discussing and demonstrating the materials that were
used in Assessment 1A on the topic of Introduction of e-commerce in revolutionising global
business. It shall critically review the resources used, providing a sound argument and
analysis.
Discussion
E-commerce and e-businesses have undoubtedly revolutionized the global business in
this emerging global economy. According to Kiitz (2016), e-commerce has improved the
relationship in between the clients and the businesses and has further led to improved
business growth. It has developed extensively with the development of this modern
developed world. Shahjee (2016) too in this context have claimed that e-commerce have
changed the monotonous ways in which the business organisations used to conduct and
operate their business just a decade ago.
Although e-commerce is a new concept, but has influenced a huge number of sectors
ranging from retail industry to finance. At the same time, it has also improved the way in
which consumers today find and buy their product. Today, consumer no longer are bound to
go out of their house in order to buy what they want. They have the entire world in their
hand. They not only just purchase their products sitting at their home, but also can assess
whether their desired product have the potential to meet their expectations by reviewing the
customer feedbacks and ratings in several e-commerce sites. According to Collins and Bardle
(2018), e-commerce and internet has connected about 40% of the total world’s population
with one another, particularly the developed nations like U.S.A, Saudi Arabia etc. The
international demands of people to by foreign products and services are seen at global level.

Embracement of e-commerce in all these nations is further influenced by internet, disruption
and innovation (Miglani, 2017).
E-commerce has helped in encouraging innovation in businesses and this has also
strengthened the security of the transactions that are made in e-commerce which further
helped the businesses to gain familiarity globally. Furthermore, Sturiale and Scuderi (2016)
have also highlighted the positive impact of e-commerce. As per them, e-commerce has
transformed and strengthened the global business. Digitisation has created a bridge in
between the business and the customers world-wide by enabling e-commerce
Conclusion
Hence, it is to conclude that as per the argument and claims of the five research
article, e-commerce have positively changed the global business world today. It has
influenced the monotonous business activities and has made them interesting and competitive
by means of expanding its reach from the local to the global level.
