INTRODUCTION
Effective skills is important for higher education. It helps students to get success in their
career and professional life. After global pandemic Covid-19 online education and e learning is
increase exponentially for students to develop their skills (Srivastava, 2019). This essay will be
help to understand e-learning advantages and disadvantages and it also explains different
experiences which is come from e-learning or online education.
MAIN BODY
E-learning is playing important role after global Covid-19 pandemic. Schools and universities
providing online education or e-learning platform it has various advantages and divagates which
affect students skills.
Advantages and Disadvantages of E-learning:
Advantages of E-learning: Global pandemic Covid-19 rise new ways of learning. Online
education is preferred by most of the schools that time it helps students to improve or develop
their skills.
Increase Access & Reach: E-learning increase their reach by online education. It helps to access
education to students with disabilities, it rises their reach at rural area also by this rural students
also get education, It also helps students to develop their skills. It increases accessibility and
cover wide area and providing education. E-learning provide flexibility to the students, and they
can also repeat their lessons as many times as they want. In Covid-19 its access is increased
people try to use their free time and for that they try to develop their skills and try to learn
something new for this they use e-learning and online platform to increase their skills and
knowledge.
Encourage shy kids: Online education and e-learning help shy students to overcome their
shyness and freely ask question in online class. It is opportunity for Shy kids to defeat their fear
and it also helps them to be motivated and be confident (Jovanović, 2020). E-learning help them
and encourage them to be confident for this they can easily ask questions without nervousness
and it also helps shy stupendous to build confidence because in e-learning platform they not see
other, so that they not feel shy in online class, and they can easily ask what they want and this
will help them in their career.

Affordability: It is the biggest issue in education system that everyone can't afford education but
e-learning also help then it is less expensive in compare to offline education. By e-learning
people can afford to trending course which help them to increase their knowledge.
Disadvantages of E-learning: As it has advantages it also has various disadvantages which
affect student and peoples day to day life (Bilyana, 2019). Some disadvantage of e-learning are
as follows,
Technology issues: As e-learning is all based on technology. Then its major disadvantage of e-
learning, students faces issues in technology and data connectivity then their learning will be
affected. Also all students not have computers and mobiles then their education is also affected
by e-learning.
Lack of social Interaction: E-learning help in different areas but it also decreases social
interaction. Students are only busy in their computers and their classes they are forgetting social
interaction. By e-learning and online education students miss face to face interaction and also
missing in-person interactions.
Focus Deficit: In e-learning mos student face focus deficit issues. They not able to focus for long
timer because they just listen and try to understand what teacher says so for some students they
might be boring, and they easily distracted. Sometimes online classes is not interactive and in
that type of classes student face difficulty in focusing.
E-learning Experience:
As per my experience e-learning has positive and negative effects. In positive e-learning
help to develop my skills which I want to improve rather than my academic. It also helps me to
develop some trending skills which help in my professional life. Online education I also explain
to me the difference between offline and online education. As I am a introvert student and not
ask much question in offline class and not interact much but online education proved me a
platform when I improved my behaviour across class and also I asked question and doubts in
class and also try give answer and take part in interactive sessions. It helps me a lot to improve
communication skills and also help me to develop my personality. E-learning also help me to
create networking with different university students who was are my online classmates this
networking help me in to develop my career. As I said e-learning is impact in my life positively

and negatively both. E-learning also effect negatively in my life it decreases my social
interaction with family members and my friends. It also affects my behaviour in online classes of
my academic because of boring lecture I skip classes and it affects my attendance. Sometime I
face difficulties in my lectures to understand the concept and topic which teacher are teaching
(Elzainy, El Sadik, and Al Abdulmonem, 2020). As e-learning is totally based on online and
technology related that's why mobiles and computer screen light also effect on my eyesights. It
also creates health issues sometimes I also feel depression because of my learning is not properly
followed according to my online classes. From my experience e-learning is beneficial but it not
uses on extreme level so that student feel pressure on their mind. It will be used on moderate
level and with e-learning must be some practical and offline education is used so that students
can easily understand learn what they want to be. In time of global pandemic Covid-19 e-
learning is very beneficial for me because it helps me to use my time and learn something new
which help me to grow my career.
CONCLUSION
This essay concludes that e-learning has positive and negative both impact in student life.
It is beneficial for students because it helps them to learn something from anywhere and it also
helps to develop their knowledge. It also evaluates some advantages and disadvantages of e-
learning and in the end it also contains reflective experience of e-learning. This essay also help
to understand they in global pandemic Covid-19 situation how people used e-learning platform
to increase their knowledge how online education and platform affect their life.
