INTRODUCTION
E-learning is the most used and the currently followed trend around the world. E-learning
means all the teaching and studies which are being done in electronic form and through all the
digital resources which are available in record(Bakhouyi and et. al.,2017).This mainly being
done by any of the digital equipments like computers, mobile phones, tablets. It merely is a
formalised teaching which is done in an electronic form with the help of internet and computers.
This report will cover the concept of e-learning with its various advantages and disadvantages.
MAIN BODY
E-learning
This is the most important process which helps in transfer of information and skills and
knowledge to various members and children through a network. It is considered to be the most
advanced techniques of learning, which helps the people to gain knowledge from any zone. e-
learning helps to promote the training sessions in the corporate areas and also provides individual
growth personally by certain adaptabilities(Batanero and et. al., 2017).As in the mean time when
pandemic has arise and there are so many schools, universities and corporate sectors are being
closed this e-learning amounts to be a boon in that case has it helps to connect with all kind of
individual sitting at home and effective knowledge about their field with the help of internet.
Thus e-learning is a network authorised learning which emits the information with the source of
internet that help them to gain knowledge in all the visual sense at any time period.
Advantages of e-learning Less Absenteeism- E-learning imparts to help the students and the people top be more4
present in the lectures then in the normal physical classes. As this helps the students to
attend the classes from wherever they want to so more number of students can attend the
lectures(Thorne and et. al., 2017). This is a positive aspect as any of the student can take
the classes in this pandemic situation sitting at home safely just by opening their laptops
or mobile phones. Efficiency- The e-learning process use to be more efficient then normal class lecture
session as it provides all the resources to be used for the learning of students. Videos,

pictures, ppt are all being shared with the students which help them to gain more
knowledge, even the students can record their lectures for the future reference. It helps
the students to gain more information through all the videos then in normal classroom
sessions.
 Encouraging shy kids- There are so many students who are so introvert that they cant
even ask about the question raised in their minds or the doubts arising while taking
lectures(Farhan and et. al., 2017). E-learning helps those kind of student as they can
directly write the problem. All the students can directly contact with the teachers for
better understanding if needed and can also take the help of all recorded videos for future.
Disadvantages Technical issue- The students as all are living in different areas and thus due to pandemic
some of them left their home to went to poor network zone, made it quiet difficult for
them to attend the classes( Lorenzo, and Lorenzo, 2019).. At times this makes the
students more tensed as while taking any classes or lectures the technical issue being
raised due to no network zone. Lack of social interaction- With the advance technology there is a drawback in e-
learning that mostly there is less social interaction between the students and the teachers
and this merely makes the introvert or shy student to not expose them or their problem
with anyone. As this process is making students less confident as they are not interacting
in the sessions with others.
 Focus deficit- As students or the individual are taking the classes or meetings from their
home or bedrooms that is actually being tough for them to ficus on that work or lectures
in that comfort zone(Sankar and et. al., 2020). There also seen that most of them have
siblings or family members which led them make to distract them in ongoing classes so
they are less focused as compared to physical classes.
Experience of e-learning
In my experience, E-learning is the best way to gain knowledge. As I has used LMS
(learning management system) and Google meet as an e-learning platforms and that has helped
me out a lot. As in the course of pandemic when it was difficult to move to any place to gain
knowledge and attend lectures this has helped me out a lot. As I can at any time access on
internet and take the lectures even though it also helps out to record all the lectures so as I can

relate and use that sessions whenever I feel doubt in any way. I will totally suggest the e-learning
process to all kind of students as this is the convenient, cost effective method of learning which
helps out in gaining knowledge through various methods like videos, pictures and also through
teachers lectures. This method surely helps all class of people whether they are students or are
working as anyone can take the training sessions or the lectures for their benefit even while
sitting at their comfort zone.
I will totally suggest this e-learning process to all kind of people as it even does not
require much cost and also in this recent times is more safe then all other means as pandemic has
already shut down so many areas of working but by the help of this students can gain more
massive and broad knowledge just by sitting at home and accessing in the internet. Thus, e-
learning is a most formulated learning process which helps out to gain knowledge and I will use
it in future too.
CONCLUSION
From this above report it is concluded that, E-learning is an important process through all
the people are being able to gain more knowledge and experience in this pandemic. It helps out
the students to gain information from the teachers and through internet. E-learning implies a
proper format of attaining knowledge as it procures by improvising the techniques and giving the
people more clear knowledge. It has various advantages like less absenteeism, encouraging shy
students but also covers certain disadvantages like focus deficit, technical error. Thus this is a
rapidly growing and helpful method of learning.
