The globalisation is basically a procedure where the trading activities and operations of an

interconnections of the economic and other factors of two or more countries arethe

globalisation is. The views and thoughts of Ghemawat about globalisationhave extremely

changed the understanding of the subjective aspect. It has also been understood that a

globalisation is a flat process of interaction which is real is false. It has also been understood

that the people of the society are not aware actually about the concept of globalisation.

In accordance to him, the present world is not said to be as globalised yet. There are many

more things which is needed to emerge in the world, and then the onlynation and

surroundings can be stated as globalisation. There are “n” number of benefits that a nation

can be able to get attain with the effective execution of globalisation (TED, 2012). At the

same time, there are different issues and problems which are not making a country to execute

globalisation in the proper way. According to Pankaj Ghemawat, the present world is

globaloney rather being globalisation. It is high time as per his concern to take initiatives to

make the country get into globalisation as to sustain and to carry out the work in a proper

manner.

What does, building a culture-based company entail?

Culture is an essen
tial element in an organisation which will help the firm to manage and
handle the work in an effective and appropriate manner. The organisation is able to get a

proper structure with its culture. The culture of every organisation is different from each

other; it depends on the nature of the business and the values it believes. The culture of

Zappos Company is quite unique and different. Zappos is a retail organisation which is

dealing in the products like clothes and shoes which is dealt online. The company is very

effectiverunning its operation in the market (
Harvard Business review, 2008). The dedicated
CEO of the company Mr. Tony Hsieh who has been charged in the firm in the year 1999. The

number of employees in the firm is nearly 1000 and all are very comparatively working and

is serving the clients in the best way.

As per the concern of the CEO, it is very important for the company to have a set culture as

with the help of this the organisation. According to the cultural values and beliefs of the

company there is a unique step which the management as a culture follows here. The culture

here is making the people of the society think many times are such plans really get works.

The company’s policy is that the employees will be trained for a certain period of time. After

the training, the candidates are asked whether they have the calibre to handle the situation and

can make the customer’s satisfied. If the candidates are ready then they have to work harder

but if they do not feel to work in the critical situation then, the management offers
$2,000 to
the candidates and ask them to leave. As they cannot afford the candidates who are not

eligible and cannot sustain in a critical situation. The company’s major concern is quality and

also it wants to make its customer’s delighted (100interviews, 2009). Therefore, the culture of

the firm is highly focusing on making the customers happy; the quality to the value is the

consideration which the management of Zappos makes. Also, the concern which the company

makes is that the CEO personally takes the interviews for the several profiles so that he can

make sure the candidates who are recruited are eligible enough to mould him in any situation.

as smooth manner. Similarly, the organisation’s culture also plays a vital and essential role in
