Table 2 Journal Rubric document
Critical thinking and Reflection It discusses the mode of thinking approach on
any subject topic in which the thinker enhances
the quality of his/her thinking by proving
competency in tactically assessing what to
explore; where and when to explore and how to
deduce the outcome of critical circumstances;
and furthermore what if the situation is out of
control.
Critical thinking reflects the capability of a
person when he/she is disposed to the problems
and how the person drawn warranted
conclusions by evaluating what the problem is,
how it must be solved by giving logical and
reasoning data with evidence supporting the
arguments.
I had personally been involved where I was in
a critical situation to save our project from
getting dissolved. The problem we faced was
the client wasn’t happy with our work even
though we did our best to render the best

service as per the client feedback. So, I took
the situation in control and called up a meeting
to address the problem to other employees as to
how our jobs are on our stake. The problem I
figured out was that due to higher target
pressure employees were not in a position to
deliver quality full work.
There was a tie up between quantity and
quality of work. Although it was necessary to
do voluminous work to meet the expenses of
in-house work, yet by keeping a moderate
balance between quality and quantity can be
really catchy in solving the critical issues. The
target was lowered to certain extent where
employees can did work effectively by meeting
expectancy of the client.
Integration and Application The knowledge I gathered with the help of this
module is supportive in learning critical
thinking skills and other management skills as
well to become a good leader and manager.
