INTRODUCTION
E-portfolio stands for the electronic portfolio. It is defined as the collection of
evidence and statements assembled by the user using the website or internet
sources. The e-portfolio usually includes text files, photographs, documents, entries,
certificates etc. The chief aim of providing an e-portfolio is to design and provide a
secure way of learning and record management for different purposes. In this
assignment, I am going to present my e-portfolio that is a collection of the
experiences, qualification, skills, and achievements and learning that I had during the
past several years. It is helpful in demonstrating better communication and
presenting the level of our capabilities and competency to others.
STRUCTURE AND ORGANIZATION OF E-PORTFOLIO
PROPOSED PLAN
The aim of e-portfolio is to provide rich evidence and resources to both the students
and the faculties in order to learn important achievements over time. The e-portfolio
here will enable me to gain a thorough insight into the different parts of the
curriculum and leads me to improve as well help me develop an identity as a learner.
The e-portfolio uses artefacts, involving media files, news, documents, videos, and
pictures to present an individual's knowledge, skills, ideas and experience. In this
assignment, I am going to present my skills, achievements, and capabilities that are
formed during the years with the help of the artefacts that enable me to think and
reason logically.
In different profession and education system, the demand and concept of creating e-
portfolios is increasing leading to better development of students and the
professionals. In nursing also the e-portfolios are in trend and are highly considered
these days. It enables one to have an online identity and social media presence. A
well-developed e-portfolio for a nursing individual will provide a good sense of online
identity and image for the individual.

being accepted in graduate nursing programmes to evaluate the learning and
knowledge of the students and programme outcomes. Nurses who take up a

Career development using the e-portfolio helps in the development of an organized
plan including the self-reflection, peer review, research on the area of work, decision
making, goal setting, job opportunities and periodic reviews. It enables the individual
to refine and review the current situation and future goals.
The framework or theory to assist for self-reflection that I will be using is the Gibbs
reflection cycle. This cycle is useful as it provides a description of events and
feelings that may be useful for the promotion of e-portfolio. Benner's theory will be
used to assist with my reflection and improvements.
Other than set readings I will be using these journals and articles to discuss in regard
to my e-portfolio

CONCLUSION
E-portfolio is the wide mix of resources that helps in better understanding and

career applications are benefited by e-portfolios as the employers can see the
