SUMMARY
E- Portfolio serves the main purpose of establishing effective partnership between
students and the faculty/staff. With the help of the portfolio the students can effectively present
what they have learned during the course work of their studies and and identifying the weak
points in their personality along with highlighting their strengths and strong points. Through E-
Portfolio a students reflects his/her development and leaders. With the E portfolio especially
required for the students for self reflecting their learnings and understanding the importance of
the portfolio in day to day as well as long term application (Ahmed and Ward, 2016). For
making a E portfolio the short term benefits empowered to the student are that it unlocks the
opportunities for engaging and finding of the solutions at faster pace because the students and
advisors have a a direct access to the E portfolio. With a effective portfolio the the students
gets motivated as they can regularly update the new learnings and enhances of their knowledge
and skills. The importance of portfolio can be outlined as it gives an opportunity to view the
body of work and how the piece fit together , this is one stop where the students can track the
progress and identify the area that need attention. The students gets an opportunity to enhance

that ability of selecting the course, chose the major subject and set the future goals regarding the
further achievement in the life to make the portfolio better and more attractive.
For my E - Portfolio I have selected 12 different documents reflecting my personal skills,
achievements and progress I have and during the academic course work (Brundiers. and Wiek,
2017). All these 12 portions clearly define my l learning, and development separately under

journey and development I have made. I have presented all my key skills, learnings and
development made under the course works which have assisted my to evolve me as a students
and also enhanced my carrier opportunities (Assiter, 2017). Under this course work I have
gained insight into developing the academic and presentations skills as well. With identifying
all my skills and presenting the key skills under this E portfolio now I feel more confident ad
motivated to polish my current skills which are under learning phase. In the present the
requirement of effective communication is must as to communicate significant and complete
information to the relevant person. A miscommunication or incomplete information sharing can
lead to the failure of the task as well as professional relation, and I have affectedly learned to

avoid such things. All t My Key skills are complied in the E-portfolio and this experiences have
been amazing and exquisitely satisfying.
WORK ONE
Reflective learning
The first thing I have earned under this course work is related with the reflecting
learning. This is the foremost task established by out tutor where we were given an activity to
reflect learnings from the first lesson of the course work. To undertake this task we were
required to think back over the lessons learned before, there usefulness and the information
required from those lessons (Janke and Tofade, 2015). This task showed the requirement of
reflective learning for a student. This task let me to rethink my previous lesson and helped me to
determine the essential things from the lessons that are required to be extracted from earlier
lesson. I have polished my ability of critical thinking as well.

For this course work one of the essential activities was to carry out research. I am a keen
learner and a inquisitive person. Which led me to develop my researching ability in significant
manner. In have outlined this ability of mine as this skills have given me a insight into
conducting a research. I have learned that how a research is conducted and what steps are
undertaken in this process. I learned different type of researching methods also presenting a
literature review over a given topic with presenting critique for the research topic and to present
opinions of various authors in both positive and negative manner over the research topic.

Communication skill does not only mean to have personal conversation with teacher,
faculty or with fellow students. Effective communication means that to make the complete

course work where I was taught that for effective communication to have to decide the channel
of communication and also chose the end source correctly (Simatele, 2018). As a information in
wrong hand can make is useless or even lead to wrong use of the information. I have developed

Developing organising skills define the ability to efficiently managing the time,
workload and resources. In this course work I have learned effectively manage my time and this
have improves my productivity and has lowered my stress level. The organising skills have
made to organise my homework and time for studies along with getting as time for sports and

about the proper format of writing a essay where there is no requirement to put heading and

the research depends is data collection. Under this course work I have learned that the data can

Notes taking is a quality that a person have while another person is stating or describe
a think or making a presentation or teaching in the class. I have developed a skill of taking notes
during the class without missing a point said by tutor and also without getting distracted. This
skill will also help in my profession life as when the seniors are saying nothing I can take notes
in order to mitigate the possibility of missing out anything said by them. I have included this is
my portfolio because this skill will help me in future to break down complicated ideas and
concepts by starting from a central idea and branching outwards to sub-branches and sub-topics.
