Research based writing
According to Khoo, L. M. S., (2019), developing skills specifically helps a student in enhancing
overall performance level while studying the number of subjects in a university. However, there
are ample number of challenges which are faced by students like apprentice challenge,
presentation challenge and many more. It is must for an individual to come up with an action
plan so that appropriate outcomes like improvement among skills can easily be done which may
automatically help in reducing the impact of challenges faced.
As mentioned by Alajmi, M. M., (2019), skills improvement automatically impacts positively
over futuristic plans plans and the procedures of an individual while working in a company.
Therefore, removal of some of the challenges like presentation related problems will directly
help a student in reaching to the best outcomes in much effective and efficient manner.

Analysis of the challenges
Apprentice challenge: Induction week in a University for an individual be considered as a
challenge because this is the place where all the information is being given by the
counsellors and teachers to the student. The same way, I have also faced problems and
difficulties in induction week in my University and foremost challenge is of
communication. While attending the induction week I was another of several factors
including the communication system and channels of the University. I was not aware
about the proper communication process to interact and clear my queries. I having
numerous questions and problems while my induction week and was unable to reach to
a particular channel for department through which a proper resolution can be provided
to me.
Presentation challenge: this is one of the most important and essential skills which an individual
should possess either as a student or as a professional. Presentation skills or not easy to
acquire and there are several challenges which are been faced by me. I might face the
challenge of time management as my presentation can be long and I may lose interest of

the attendees which can cause a huge impact on my evaluation as an individual and as a
professional.
Discussion of the skills
Communication skills: In view of Koraneekij, P. and Khlaisang, J., (2019), the communication
skill is considered as the most important as it is the part of day to day life of an
individual helping in exchanging information and interviews on specific topics in a
group or in relevance scenarios.

Time management: The time management is an important aspect of presentation skills which
enables an individual to be interactive and participate along with keeping the audience
connected with the presentation rather than boring them and making them feel tired
while the presentation is going on.
