Before attending module, I was aware about the
behavioural expectation required for studying for
the degree of business management. Along with
that, I learned about the cultural expectations as
well. While studying in the university, it is
necessary for the students to maintain the decorum
of the institute, the students are advised not to
possess violent or destructive behaviour or to
conduct activities such a bullying, harassing other
students and peers. The teachers and the tutors
expect the students to be sincere and quiet in the
classroom and maintain the management of the
classrooms (Kumar, and et.al., 2018). The tutors
of the business management degree expect a
professional behaviour because the degree of
business management possess a sense of
professionalism in the students. As the cultural

business management taught us to learn time
management skills as being in a professional
course it is necessary for an individual to manage
time and tasks to avoid delaying and non-
completion of the tasks (Larson, and et.al., 2018).
It is expected by the learners to avoid plagiarism
while conducting projects or activities as it might
lead to serious consequences of the students in the
university. In the module, there are certain
expectation such as students are supposed to put
their mobile phones off or on vibrate, attending all
the lectures and the activities conducted by the
professors, be on time, avoid conflicts and
mismanagement in the classrooms, and so on.
These are behavioural and cultural expectation
that I learned from the module and also while
studying the degree of business management. It is
necessary to develop the cultural and behavioural

The importance of peer-to-
peer support and team
working to enhance learning
experience
In the module, I understood the importance of
peer-to-peer learning because previously I
thought that only the teachers and the mentors
assist and guide regarding the learning
experience. Thus, it was new for me when my
fellow peers were helping me in learning.
Peer-to-peer learning makes it easier for me to
learn because learning is easier with the peers
because they share experiences of each other
at the same level. I learned that peer to peer
learning helped me in building strong
connections with the teammates (Davis, and
Shonhiwa, 2019). It develops the ability of
cooperative learning in me as I worked with
the peer with different and unique abilities and
it helped me in learning new and varied things.

professors and tutors in the
university taught us to observe
and learn, this will help me in
learning and ensuring growth by
observing the seniors and the

academics. Ability to work in groups and
teams help in developing good communication
skills and prepare them to achieve success
altogether. It helped me in being socialized
and attain the good listening skills and way of
effective speaking with the peers and team-
mates. Along with the learning experience the
team work helped me in boosting the
confidence and courage to express my ideas
and opinions in group. It helps in becoming an
active participant. It is the best way to show
the strengths and abilities I have while
working in the group. With the help of team
members, we ensured that he weak and
sensitive students develop more skills and
abilities which will help them in overcoming
their weaknesses and fears (Azizan, and et.al.,
2018). Thus, from the module I understood
that peer-to-peer learning and team work is
also an essential part to enhance the learning
experience of an individual because it helps in

I have the ability to manage the time

Weaknesses
Being a student, one of the major weakness I face
is procrastination this leads to incomplete and
delayed tasks. As I am always eager to learn new
things but I have the lack of focus this diverts me
from learning an adapting new skills and abilities.
I had a fear of failure which reduces my
capability of performing well and achieve better
results.
