This project work for ITE 3111, E-Supply Chain Management, explores the adoption of technological advancements in supply chain management. It focuses on the implementation of robotics, big data analysis, RFID, and drones. The project details the functions, changes, and implementation strategies of each technology, highlighting their impact on cost reduction, inventory management, and process efficiency. Robotics are utilized for high-risk activities and monotonous tasks, while big data analysis improves decision-making and inventory monitoring. RFID technology enhances efficiency and reduces errors, and drones are employed for logistics and inventory control. The project also includes an overview of the evolution of SCM, emphasizing the importance of integration, visibility, and streamlined channels.
