MBA Project: Research Methodology for E-Wallet Acceptance in Malaysia

This report presents the research methodology employed in a study investigating the acceptance of E-Wallets and the enhancement of services in Malaysia. The study adopts a quantitative research approach, utilizing a descriptive design to explore the perceptions of Malaysians towards E-wallets. The methodology encompasses various stages, including the formulation of research questions, a comprehensive literature review, and the development of a survey questionnaire using a Likert scale. Data collection involved an online survey distributed to 121 participants, employing simple random sampling. The collected data underwent rigorous evaluation using SPSS, involving reliability analysis, cross-tabulation, ratio analysis, and factor and regression analyses. The research also addressed ethical considerations, such as obtaining informed consent from participants. The findings aim to provide insights into the factors influencing E-wallet acceptance and offer recommendations for enhancing E-wallet services in Malaysia. The report includes details on research design, sampling techniques, data collection methods, and statistical analysis to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the research process. The study's aim is to determine the factors that influence acceptance of e-wallets in Malaysia.
