INTRODUCTION
Agriculture is the practice through which cultivation of plants and livestock can be
carried out. It is a source of livelihood for many families in different countries all around the
world (Basso and Antle, 2020). Therefore, in this way it can be stated that through making its use
a high-level of growth can be obtained quite effectively and efficiently in a proper manner. In
this essay, a detailed and specific focus will be made on the plan to develop Northern Australia
as an agricultural hub.
MAIN BODY
The Northern Australia is a region in Australia which is quite rich in its natural resources
which are available there (Farooq and et.al., 2020). Thus the region's development as an
agricultural hub is required to be done so that it can help the people of the country a lot as its
natural resources will be used properly in this case.
The region's development as an agricultural hub is quite important and should be done.
This is so because there has been an increase in the food demands from Southeast Asia which is
therefore helpful in generating a higher-level of demand and can lead towards the better

In Southeast Asia there are various countries who have a higher-level of demand related
with food items and therefore as these countries are within the proximity of Australia it is quite
essential that the supply of food items is made according to the demand. Therefore, this will be
helpful in ensuring that the food items are supplied in a right manner quite effectively and
efficiently (Birch, Kennedy and Kruger, 2020).
When the region is developed as an Agricultural hub the development of various crops
can be done there and thus in this way this will be quite helpful in ensuring that the higher-level
of fertility can be developed. Thus, the various types of food products can be supplied as per the
demand level of Southeast Asian Countries.
This will provide a lot of benefits. Some of them are explained as follows-

Another reason is that through the development of the region as an Agricultural hub the
hydrological perspective is required to be considered. This is so because there is a strong need
and requirement of ensuring that there is an availability of water bodies which can be quite
useful in meeting the water-related needs and requirements in a proper way. Thus, it can be
stated that the resource management can be done quite appropriately (Usman and et.al., 2020).
Thus, it is essential that the water resources can be managed well so that the water from
the river bodies is utilized appropriately (Jetten, 2020). The following benefits can be derived
from it-
 Through considering the hydrological perspective the water bodies of Northern Australia
can be used quite properly. The water which is present in these water bodies can be used
well which will help the people a lot. Thus, the growth of region as an economical hub

. Therefore, it is required that the Government of a country is able to invest in the construction of
Dams so that it can effectively and efficiently make sure that it can help in management of the
hydrological process in the right manner which will therefore lead towards the attainment of the
goals and objectives related with proper use of water.
