funding or allocation of extra amount of funding in this particular sector in a bid to improve the
quality of the services provided by the NHS. Furthermore, the author is of the opinion that the NHS
could take help from the various models followed in the European nations, especially the model of
health care services followed by the nation of France.

an important part in the society. However, in the present times it is seen that the quality of the services
provided by the NHS is declining due to various factors. One of the major reasons for the declining quality

the nation of United Kingdom and every year it is generally seen that millions of people
take the help of the services provided by the NHS for their healthcare needs (Greener
2016). The NHS is known primarily for two reasons, namely, the high quality of healthcare
facilities provided by it and secondly, the relatively less amount of fee charged by them for
the healthcare services which they provide to the patients from the different parts of the
nation of United Kingdom (Frith 2015). However, in the recent times it is generally seen that
the quality of the services provided by the NHS has declined in a significant manner and this
particular fact has forced the people of the nation to opt for the relatively expensive
healthcare services provided by the private healthcare organisations of the nation (Dunn,
McKenna and Murray 2016). This particular fact has formed an area of major concern not
only for the people of the nation who take the help of the healthcare facilities provided by
