AI Summary
This report, prepared by a TAFE SA student, focuses on the planning cycle in early childhood education, specifically for the Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC50113). The assessment involves noticing, recognizing, and responding to the learning and development of three children through various observation methods, including controlled, naturalistic, and participant observation. The report details the collection of information from multiple sources, including family information forms and consultations, to analyze children's behaviors, strengths, and needs within the context of active learning environments. The student applies Erikson's Psychological Development Theory to support the children's learning and development, planning active learning environments, and demonstrating the ability to make learning visible through documentation for families.

Report
Introduction
Child development planning is very useful to new parents nowadays. By this development,
parents can measure the growth of their child. Many institutes did this development planning
procedure. With the help of their children are physically and mentally developed in a certain
way.
With the help of different dated observations of three selected children, it is visible that, there
are three methods of observations considered in this study.
Controlled Observation –
By this observation, I have noticed certain changes amongst the children. Seeking contact,
maintaining contact, children avoid proximity, increasing reliability (Mcleod, 2019).
Naturalistic Observation –
By this observation, I have noticed certain changes amongst the children. Children easily
studied spontaneous opportunities, willingly generate new ideas in all activities
(Verywellmind.com, 2019).
Participant Observation –
By this observation, I have noticed certain changes amongst the children. Here children
willingly take participate, accepting peer scaffolding in any situation (Mcleod, 2019).

RECOGNISE: Making meaning of your information
Write a holistic summary of all information gathered from the analysis of your observations,
family information, and other relevant sources and specifically identify the child’s learning
and development for the following:
• reactions to the play environment and routines, through their social interactions and
relationships (behavior)
• strengths, interests and play preferences
• learning and holistic development
• The child’s voice (within the group)
• The voice of the child’s peers
• Any individual needs (from the family)
According to information gathered from the analysis of observations, family information and
other relevant sources, specifically the child’s learning and development have reached a
higher level than the previous level. Most of the children are very interested in their
respective playing skills. They have grown their strengths and play references in a unique
way. When the child is in a group and alone, the voice of the child was different. There is a
common suggestion for all the families of the children to take care of their children as
instructed by this study. So, children can encourage them self.
What conclusions do you make about the child’s learning and development needs?
As per collected information, it is clearly visible that children have grown in a positive
attitude. All the things they have learned from this study is strictly increased their vocational
skills as well as inborn skills in the future.
RECOGNISE: Connecting observation with Theory
Considering your analysis, identify a theorist and their theory that supports the development
of this child. Reference your research on this.
According to Erikson’s Psychological Developmental Theory, basic psychological
development is needed within the ten to twelve years after born of a child. This theory

includes, by playing the most interest sports by the child is indirectly developed child’s
phycological scenario. As per the study, here children are also in supervision of this child
developmental theory.
How will you use this theory to support the child’s learning and development?
According to Erikson’s Psychological Developmental Theory, it is confirmed that children
like to play their favorite sport. By playing the sport they have got a developed phycological
scenario. Here all the children are free to play their favorite sports or to do their favorite
activities for phycological growth.
