The education and training department has given the introduction of strategy of literacy and
numeracy for supporting the works of the teachers in the classrooms and in the schools for
improving the literacy and the numeracy. The strategy was devised in such a way that it involves

strong and efficient foundation of literacy and knowledge is very essential for each and every

parents are talking with the child, more is the development of vocabularies within
them.
6. The children who are communicated much more in the house by their parents and
other peoples, can develop more vocabularies within them.
7. The procedure that the parents should follow is they should talk with their child
all the times, while travelling in the cars, while playing at the play grounds and also
during the time of the birth.

skills of verbal languages are still underdeveloped. The teacher must make sure that the
perceptions are matching. It must be make sure that the children are responding properly to the
objects that are being discussed in front of the child. The children are using the verbal
communication as well as the non-verbal communication at the time of responding to the
educators, teachers or any other adults.
Writing teaching for the pre-school children
Outline- Learn how to read and write each and

Rationale- The writing abilities of the

schools. It is not possible for the children to
start writing sentences on their own until
they know the letters and be able to start
forming words and from words to sentences.

arranging for daily writing workshops. . Another
way of improving the skills of writing is by
