3. Once completed, have the child explain to you his drawing

What was the drawing about?
She was asked to draw picture of family member, but she did not responded to instruction and
started to linger around and started playing with toys and other friends.

Does the drawing reflect any possible issues or reasons for concern? Yes | No
If yes, please explain:
Yes.
As the child was not involved in drawing the thing, rather she started to have fight with her
friends. This reflect that Alisha is peculiar about her personal wish, and when opposed by
someone she end up showing aggressive behaviour. She is disobedient and does not respond to
any thing instructed.

Describe the child’s attitude while completing the task:
While completing the task, Alisha only linger around the doing nothing and playing with toys.
She displayed aggressive behaviour and not responsible for any instruction given.

As the instruction was given to draw pictures, she does not pay any attention and did not
responded. Thus, it can be interpreted that she was having issue in understanding the thing and
it is the reason that she ends up doing thing of her personal wish.
5. Provide an example of a story the child shared with you that helped your assessment of the
child’s general disposition:
On trying to communicate with Alisha, she uses only few words and gestures to explain her
feelings. When she was brought before her parents, she rushed towards her father and not to
her mother. Even when her mother tried to take her, she refused to come and showed reluctant
gesture. From such sign of communication, it is interpreted that Alisha is more attached to her
father than her mother. When few question was asked pointing towards her mother, she did not

responded. Thus, it can be said that she is having some issue with her mother, that is also
impacted her mental stability.

Provide an anecdotal information you gathered from the child’s parent that is consistent with
your own observation:
From investigating with her father and mother, it was noted that due to immense love and care
by her father has made her aggressive. When she is instructed by her mother to stop doing
wrong activities, she is supported by father. This has created distance with her mother.
NOTES
From the study of Rutter and Pickles (2016) it was noted that child acquire new changes easily at
the age of 2 which can be teaching her family and preschool. Development of unhealthy changes
can be acquired by giving more love than it is required. In such case parents should learn to say no.
Hence. The love of father has made her aggressive and disobedient, thus parent needs guidance for
intervention for healthy development of child.
