INTRODUCTION
Play is an important activity that engaged in for enjoyment and recreation related to
children. A physical or mental problems leisure activity that is undertaken entirely for
amusement and has no other aim. This essay will be examining importance of ECs to protect the
right to play. Apart from this, role of parents in early childhood setting and various ways to
improve them are mentioned under this essay. On the basis of collected information critical
reflect upon practices and policies of early childhood services are mentioned in this essay.

This essay will be discussing about important rights of children with examples of how
they affect their daily lives. “Right to play” is stated in UN affirmation as right of child and now
personified in convention on the rights of children. It has been seen the most of the children likes
to play continuously whole day. It seems to be their favourite activity that engaged them always
and provide enjoyment on regular basis. It clearly booms with individual core responsiveness
that play is one of the vital aspects to young children learning and overall development. (Lundy,
2012). The significant of ECA is to assist children to attain results in important in delivering
quality play experiences to the child. It will help children to make proper connection with their
parents and other. At all ages, children are single-parent household were more probable than
other to be informal care only. Early childhood education and care is more priority for the
Australian bodies in recognition that EC’s plan need to play an eminent role in overall
development of child growth and development. Early childhood Australia (ECA) is steady and
important provider to public policy that debate on every matters which would affect young child
and their families. The lure children feel to play outdoor in natural space more as compare to
inside due to which certain health issues not perform activities. (Bartholet, 2011). Thus, it is vital
for parents and their guardians to take care of child at the time of play outside. Parents also
responsible for making children’s happy. For this, they let them play because if children don't
have fun than they get sad. Every children likes to play outside as compare to inside because they
are happy by playing games. If they are not play then they feel unhealthy. In addition of this, it
seems that playing is more important for child to keep healthy and happy as well. For protecting
child right, American bodies play vital role in which they make EC’s plan. With the help of this,
they can easily develop child growth. Play is important aspect for every children’s to keep

healthy and happy. Without this, children’s feel sad and stress full. As the Early childhood
Australia also develop and formulate appropriate plan to protect right of children. With the help
of this children's attain better growth.
Plan 2
This essay will discuss about responsibility of ECA regarding protection of the right to
play. There was huge importance of play in the growth of children. There are many skills, habits
and attitudes are created by children during the process of play which stays with them throughout
their lives. The major benefits which are gathered by children from their early stage playing
activities includes how to cope up with frustration, share their ideas with others and provide
vocal expression to their thoughts and fantasies. ECA is advocacy organisation of Australia who
provides their functions in interest of young children along with their early childhood education.
The basic reason from which we can understood that protection of right to play of children is
important because it helps in their skill, social and imagination development. The concept of
skills development is understood from the fact that playing with toys at early stage helps the
children to learn coordinate the movements of their hands with their eyes. Struggling while
playing with toys aid to create perception in mind of child that it is not always easy to get
something you want. This will helps in improvement of their skills regarding problem solving
which will be necessary in future to achieve goal. Playing with other children help in
development of social skills (Grugel & Peruzzotti, 2012). It improves their learning about how
get along with others. It generates the habit of sharing and kindness as from this more rewards
are bring to them in comparison to snatching and pushing. For example, The children whose
upbringing done in proper manner has wider scope of growth in future years in comparison to the
other children. It was seemed where regulations are properly followed for education of child
according to their age helps in their overall personality development which contributes in
attainment of future targets easily. Globally, importance of right to play is understood and
appropriate Article 31 was provided by UN Convention which states that child has all the rights
regarding leisure, play and participation on cultural activities (Munro and et. al., 2011).

This essay will discuss about children's right to play is respected in early childhood
setting and ways of improvement. It was noticed that insufficient attention had been provided by
state and parties in the implementation of all the provision of of Article 31 of UN Convention

regarding Right to play, rest and leisure. Play is one of the most important aspect of early
childhood. Through this they can enjoy and challenge their current capacities. By focusing on
many aspects we can easily create the positive childhood environment includes security,
supportive behaviour, stress free atmosphere etc. Basically, required to provide sufficient place
to play in urban areas where large number of housing complexes, commercial centres and
transport systems creates hazardous atmosphere for young children. The aspect which provides
negative impact upon the playing activities of children includes competitive schooling and
domestic tasks. For improvement of right to play activities, required to appeal state parties and
non governmental organisations to take some positive steps which help in removal of obstacles
defined above. In this regard, required to provide information to the parents of children about the
importance of play on their skills, social and imagination development. Also, need to bring
poverty reduction strategies for such kind of families which lives below poverty line and cannot
afford to provide healthy life to their children's. While make plans for town required to consult
with individuals of society for providence of appropriate space to play for children's (Poretti and
et. al., 2014). For ex., Canberra is one of the city in Australia where large number of free space is
available for enjoyment of children's. This was the basic reason that children's of this particular
city have more social skills in comparison to other.
CONCLUSION
It has been concluded from the above report that activities related to play consist huge
importance in relation to the development of overall personality of children's. ECA is one of the
childhood advocacy organisation acting in the interest on rights of young children's along with
their eduction. As a teacher, I was required to follow rules and regulations provided by ECA
which helps in appropriate growth of children's.
