INTRODUCTION
Language learning is defined as one of the most exiting as well as difficult activities
which the children achieve during their childhood. The children face various problems which are
regarding grammar and pronunciation as they do these wrong. Emergent literacy learning is
defined as one of those ideas that the children start learning literacy at the early stage, before
their school learning starts. Multi literacy learning is defined as the ability to find, interpret,
generate and transmit meaning among visuals, musical and various forms of communication.
This report will discuss various strategies that a teacher will use to provide support to
children as well as their families and language of the children. It will also discuss the importance
of a teacher in learning of the children and how children's get influences by the environment.
MAIN BODY
Strategies adapted by ECT to support various learning
There are various strategies which an early child teacher can adapt for developing the
language, emergent learning and multi literacy. One of them can be playing game of describing,
guessing and turn taking. In these children will have to feel the object and describe the object or
racing and various other games (Masten, and Barnes, 2018).
This is idea motivates the children to play the game and interact with other children. In
this idea there are various other games also which can be played involving the children's. These
games improve their vocabulary, nonverbal communication, learning new words and various
other skills. This idea improves the children's involvement in the class and understand the other
children who are in the class.
The current idea will make the children's pronunciation and learning capability. It is
because they will have to pronounce the words of the object they feel. Also, when playing other
types of the games they will have to speak with other children and interact with them. It will help
them to develop their communication skills. This will also encourage them to speak various
languages which will be with the help of their teachers as well as other children (Weatherby-Fell,
Duchesne, and Neilsen-Hewett, 2019).
In this one of the games can be singing rhymes with the last letter of previous rhymes. It
will help them to remember the rhymes and its pronunciation and sing with various actions. It

well as their teacher. In this teacher will have to ensure that all the children's are participating in
the activities. As the teacher will ensure that all the children are singing it will motivate the
children that teacher will appreciate them when they will sing it in correct way as well as with
actions. This will be beneficial for the children as they will learn various things during the
games.
Strategies adapted by ECT to support children & families
There are various strategies which a teacher can adapt to teach English to the children
where the English is not the main language. Here the teacher will have to ensure that they will
support both the children and their families during the learning (Setiyadi, 2020).
Here the teacher will respect the cultures of every child as well as their families wishes. It
will ensure that the children will like to learn with the teacher and will do whatever the teacher
will be instructing them. This will also help the teacher as it will improve their effectiveness and
children will behave in respectful way during the class.
In this first teacher will have to make the children feel welcome and valued by
celebrating festivals in their culture. Interact with the children about their culture and traditions
and learn more about their festivals. It will help the teacher to understand what the children have
learnt in their early childhood and what are the things which they have to teach them to improve
their learning capacity (Alibekova, and Urinboyeva, 2020).
The teacher will also interact with the families of the children's and learning more about
what they want their children to be involved in and what are the things which their children's
does not eat. It will ensure that the families are happy with the working of the teacher and ensure
children's are safe. As there are various allergies which children's might have and if teacher
knows about it then they will ensure that the children will not eat such things.
This is suitable as the teacher will be able to connect with the children and understand
them in a better manner. It is suitable as the teacher will ensure the methods with the help of
which they will make the learning experience easy and understandable for the children.
Importance of ECT role in constructing multi literacy environment
It is important that the early childhood teacher are involved in constructing multi literacy
environment. As the teacher is the only one who can teach the children to work in a particular
the activities. As the teacher will ensure that all the children are singing it will motivate the
children that teacher will appreciate them when they will sing it in correct way as well as with
actions. This will be beneficial for the children as they will learn various things during the

manner and understand why it is necessary. There are various ways which a teacher adapts while
constructing the environment which will encourage the children for various tasks (Cheung
2020).
The ways which can be adapted are involving every child in a group activity where there
are multi cultured children in a school. This will ensure that the children learn various new things
and various languages while working with other children. Here the teacher will have to ensure
that the children are in a safe environment as there may arise various conflicts in such an

experiences. The teacher will ensure that all the children's are learning various things from their
classmates while conducting the activities. When the teacher is conducting activities they will
have to ensure that the children's are not harming themselves and other children.
Here the teacher deliberately forms the groups of multi cultured children so that it will
help them in the long run. It will make the children form their own perception regarding certain
culture and not depend on what others are saying. Teacher is most important as they will be
unbiased while making some decision and not depend on the particular culture. The teacher will

wishes. It will lower the confidence level of the children as well as lower the self-esteem.
Children's will not be able to develop their social skills which will not be good for them in the
future (Ndayambaje, Umwari, and Yulia, 2020).
