2.1Standards for measuring quality in social and health care
Minimum standards- It means that set minimum standards that are needed in
providing health care. These are the low level standards that are very basic in
providing health care.
Bench marks- They are the objectives that are set for the overall organisation
to ensure assurance of service quality to people. It is done to maintain the
quality level of organisation and also it do not create a negative impact in the
society.
Performance indicators- They are the indicators that are set to measure the

2.2 Different approaches for implementing quality system
Setting up policies- it is the best way to implement the quality standards.
Policies means the codes that are applied by the organisation to provide

structure, staff, etc. any changes made in hospital environment will directly
