Introduction
Employees are the important assets for any organisation as the overall level of
productivity and profitability of a organisation is depended on the performance of employees. It
is very important for organisation to retain their talented workforce, organisations are willing to
invest on the talent workforce to enhance their present level of motivation and commitment.
Employees are willing to get appropriate rewards for the level if contribution which they are
making towards their assigned roles and responsibility (Huang, 2018). Easy jet is a British
multinational low cost group tat is having its headquarters in London. It is listed on London
stock exchange and is the constituent of FTSE index. It is operating more than 300 aircraft and
has 29 bases across Europe that is largest being Gatwick. In present report there is analysis of the
role played by monetary incentives for improving and enhancing the employee satisfaction level.
There will be application of primary and secondary method of collecting information to analyse
the data and further reach towards relevant recommendations and conclusions.
Aim and objectives:
Aim: "To analyse the role of monetary incentives in the process of enhancing the present level
of employee satisfaction in COVID 19 situation.” A study on Easy jet
Objectives:

To identify the role of using monetary incentives in the process of enhancing the present

Research hypothesis:
Employee motivation is one of the most important factors that is associated with the aspect of
managing the level of employee performance. In present scenario, there will be evaluation of the
way motivation level of employee can be managed to improve their level of contribution towards
laid organisation aims and objectives. In the covid 19 scenario when each and every industry was
getting affected in a negative manner it became very important for the organisations to manage
the overall level of employee performance so that their contribution can be maximised. In easy
jet the organisation got affected by the external environment scenario therefore it is necessary to
use monetary incentives in order to maximise the level of employee satisfaction.

As per view points of Belushi (2017), There are many issue that are faced by employers in both
private and public sector to mange the level of employee motivation, motivation is regarded as
the willingness of a employee to work it is the process of stimulation and drive that enables
employees to enhance their level of contribution to organisation. In the present scenario of
COVID 19 there are lot of issues that affected the employees functioning and working. It is
related with the reduction in employee performance, mental instability, changing working
patterns, shifting of customer focus (Mustafa and Ali, 2019). All this issues have to be dealt with
by using some of the motivation techniques so that overall employee motivation level can be
maintained for long term. In context of Easy jet the overall concept of employee motivation is
associated with managing the level of employee contribution so that overall performance level of
employees does not gets affected because of the prevailing scenario. It is also related with the
way monetary incentives contribute towards improving the present performance level.

monetary incentives as a tool to focus on the way in which employee performance will be
managed. For the purpose of improving the overall motivation level the various monetary
functions include house rent allowance, conveyance facilities to employees who were working in
this situation, medical reimbursement to employees who were dealing with some of the medical
issues. Apart from this there were some of the special allowances that include commissions,
reduced interest loans, commissions that in monetary form to help employees in improving their
present level of satisfaction (Kajackaite and Sliwka, 2020). Monetary incentives play a role of
being effective motivation because goof compensation is very important for improving the
overall level of employee satisfaction it is related with bonuses or monetary rewards for
employee who are performing exceptionally at high level.

Research metrology is the technique or process of collecting information with respect to any
research field. The main objective of research methodology is to assist researcher in collection of
information with respect to study. There are different methodologies that will be used in the
present research work as mentioned below:

positivism philosophy that helps in collection of quantitative information.

evaluation of quantitative or numerical information. In present researches work there will be use

by the researcher for the process of collecting and evaluation of information. There are different
types of research design that includes exploratory, descriptive and experimental (Schlachter and
Pieper, 2019). In the present research work there will be use of descriptive research design by the
research as there will be description of population and situation. In this researcher is focussing
ion collection of quantitative information as per the pre defined objectives.
Data collection: It is regraded as the strategy that is to be select by the resrcehr it is
important fir investigator to select valid method for having appropriate information. There are
different method of collecting data that includes primary data and secondary method. Primary
data collection method facilitates the process of having first hand information. In secondary
method there is focus in addressing the existing gaps in the already published data, it will
includes collection of information from journals, articles, books, newspapers, magazines.
Sampling; It is defined as the process where specific sample is to be selected from whole
population, it is a process to analyse & select while population range, there are two types of
sampling that includes probability & non probability sampling methods. Probability sampling
there is selection of respondent without any type of specific criteria on other hand non
probability sampling there selection of responders with specific requirements and specification.
Time horizon: It is a method in which there is specific time schedule that is to achieve the
laid aims and objective (Opstrup, 2017). It helps the researches in scheduling of activity as per
systematist and proper manner. In present research work investigator will be using cross
sectional time horizon for the purpose of completion of each activity and tasks in a more
effective manner, it will help in attainment of objectives in specific time duration.
