INTRODUCTION
In terms of business people management may be defined as the process of recruiting,
training, retaining the talent within the organisation in order to enhance the talent and skill of the
employees and improve their productivity(Ahl, 2018). People management is basically a
subcategory of the Human Resource Management department which are responsible for training
and development, recruiting, perks, benefits, compensation and many more activities. The
following report is based on Easy jet which is a Swiss low cost airline. The company was
established on 18 may 1988 and the headquarters of the company was situated in Meyrin,
Switzerland. This report is going to give information on leadership and management, training
and development and talent management with appropriate models. This report also covers that
how these areas underpin the performance management of the chosen company and along with
this, this report also cover the skill, knowledge and behaviour which are required by the
management of the company in order to improve the performance of the respective company.

leadership is being considered as an ability within an individual or group of people who
are able to guide, influence and motivate their followers in a very effective manner. Management
may be defined as the process of planning, organizing, controlling, motivating and leading the
different activities of the business in a very effective manner to achieve all the objectives of the
business. The leadership style which have been adopted by the leaders of the management
directly affect the performance of the company in a very effective manner. The performance
culture of the organisation has been dictate by the leaders. Different types of styles has been used
by all the leaders to improve the performance of the company. The Lewin style of leadership has
been discussed below:-

This style was proposed by Kurt Lewin and his team members in 1939. In this style they
determine the three basic leadership style i.e. Autocratic, democratic, and delegation. All these
styles has is own roles and responsibilities. This model has been discussed below:-

Autocratic leadership style :- the leaders who follow the autocratic style of leadership is
known as Authoritarian leaders. In this style the leaders set the deadlines of carry out the
task, spell out the goals and make the decision without discussing or little discussing with
others(Averina, Avdeeva and Perevalova, 2018). Employees seen these leaders as
dictatorial and generally these leaders don't involve in the group activity.
Democratic Leadership style :- this leadership style is also known as participative
leadership style. This style is being considered as one of the most chosen style by all the
leaders all across the globe. In this style the leaders of the company express their ideas
and values in front of their employees and make the decision by accepting the advice of
their workers. At the end leaders are responsible for making the final decision but they
take part in the group activity and take suggestion from their colleagues to carry out the
task in a very effective manner.
Delegative leadership style :- this style is also known as laissez faire leadership style. In
this style the power of taking the decision are in the hands of member. In simple term the
leaders of the company handover the responsibility of taking the decision or carry out the
